Can we let go of this hubris? Atletico Madrid is having an incredible season both this year and last year. This whole "inexperienced" thing needs to stop immediately. Was the team too inexperienced to win the Europa League? While it's not as prestigious, it takes the same type of mindset.

The team is really good, really together, and really fast.

Talk about a good draw. We were due this because of our terrible luck in past years. Still though, they are really tough, especially this year and we can still veeerrrry likely lose with how we've been playing and how Atletico have been playing. We should win here, but just depends on our will to win (we do have Kaka and at least you know he'll want it.)

They're 2nd tied with Barca at 43 points and 5 points ahead of RM. They have had amazing results all season. They score a lot and concede almost nothing.
Main difference? They are a team, we are not.

RIP Totti
Diego Costa is probably the most dominant striker in the world at the moment

Zapata will need to crush him. Good physical battle that

Draw could be worse, its not ideal but it could be a lot worse

Is it not true tho? Under Allegri we look nothing like a team.. Atletico on the other hand

However a lot can change in space of 2 months, A LOT

Thats what I have been trying to say here. Why the hell is everyone worried about Diego Costa when we come up against him in the knockout stages? You guys should be more worried about the Diego that is not even on the field. That guy sure knows how to rally his team more than others who idiotically keep saying one entire word the entire match 'Dai, dai, dai'. Far out I bet he would even make Balo track back and put in the hard yards every match. Experience has told me that you dont fuck with a guy that has that much grease on his head.

A better draw than Real, Bayern or Chelsea, but there wasn´t a an easy draw at all.

We have to park the bus and counter attack. We will see how they can deal with that. In their group weren´t really teams which follow this strategy and their Leauge isn´t a defensive mekka, so it may be a bit of a different story for them.

We are definitely able of winning the San Siro match. Clean sheet and 2 to 3 goals at home, then park the bus in Spain.

There should also be a video of Allegri vs Ajax. Will someone deliver?

“It will be a great challenge, among the most important in this season, against a team that has won the Champions League several times,” said Simeone in a Press conference.

“San Siro is a wonderful stadium, where I played many times. Milan is a beautiful city and I’m sure we will see a great match.”

‘Cholo’ played for Inter from 1996 to 1999, then remained in Serie A with Lazio until 2003.

“I don’t see this as a Milan Derby. I have great respect for Milan and those who work there. They have a great Coach who must keep hold of a very difficult bench and an exceptional squad.

“We’ll see if they buy any more great players in January and also what the form is going into such a wonderful challenge.

“Currently I’d see qualification as a 50 per cent chance each. We’re still in December, so it’s too early to say who is the favourite.”
