Wait? Montolivo is returning this season?

Montolivo could return earlier than expected before the end of March (was expected to be in April) and could play against Juve. [Gazzetta]

They just had to fuck up the world cup too. :fp:

It takes the entertainment factor away from the world cup and the qualifiers (especially South America).

the new world cup format has not been started yet and people already judge that it is totally disaster.
and tell me what is your qualification that can makes you judge it is disaster?

After yesterday was unlocked Gabriel-Storari exchange with Cagliari, may soon reach the turning point for the other negotiations in which it is engaged AC Milan, that is the one concerning the possible arrival in the Rossoneri on loan with the right of redemption by Gerard Deulofeu. Adriano Galliani, who has pursued contacts with the entourage of the former Barcelona, is looking for an external attacker to give to Montella and the first objective is the Spaniard who has also followed other European clubs such as Marseille and Las Palmas.

Deulofeu SAYS YES ' - The novelty of the last hours, as reported by ********** this morning, is that Milan's yes Deulofeu: The player grew up in the Barca has indeed given his consent to the transfer to the club via Aldo Rossi, who now awaits with greater confidence the Everton answer. Ok after the Spaniard, now the Rossoneri are waiting for the go-ahead Koeman, coach of Toffees who deployed again in the field Gerard in the FA Cup against Leicester after a month of benches and bleachers.

OPTIMISM - A Casa Milan is therefore now a bit 'more optimism around this negotiation and Montella hopes to soon have available Deulofeu, who is able to play in the three-pronged attack on the right or left So it will relieve both Suso that Niang. Strong yes the Spanish player, the Rossoneri are now waiting for the response that Everton should arrive shortly.

So nowaday fans can't have opinion anymore?

Top asian/african teams such as s.korea, saudi arabia, nigeria or ivory coast barely have quality to even challenge 2nd tier european teams.
Now fifa want to add more below tier teams into world cup?

Milan get Deulofeu breakthrough?

Milan are closer than ever to Gerard Deulofeu on loan after Everton agreed terms with Manchester United for Morgan Schneiderlin.

The Rossoneri had made the proposal to take Deulofeu on loan with option to buy, but so far there has been no response from the Toffees.

Tonight Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho confirmed “Schneiderlin is more than probably going to Everton.”

A deal worth £22m has been worked out and Sky Sport Italia note Ronald Koeman has given the go-ahead for Deulofeu to leave.

Milan still face competition from Roma, but appear to have the upper hand for the Spanish winger.

Fuck UEFA
The new world cup format sounds dumb. All decided on PKs? Someone wants to have the lowest scoring WC in history it seems. Watch teams play defensively and bank on PKs. Weaker teams will most definitely park the bus now. That's if not the other team scores first and parks the bus anyways.

Whoever thought of this needs to be smacked with a cactus.

Why not 3 teams to go through?

Best post of 2017 so far. So fucking much this.

Weaker teams have always parked the bus, so nothing is gonna change in that respect. We will have players better rested and less fatigued as the tournament goes on with this new format.

Weaker teams have always parked the bus, so nothing is gonna change in that respect. We will have players better rested and less fatigued as the tournament goes on with this new format.

That's a silly excuse. By that logic all FIFA did was add a bunch of bus parkers and bloated the damn tournament. This only exacerbates the bus parking and makes sure no such weaker teams get out of their comfort zones to try and snag a second position. If for example we get 16 European teams + Argentina and Brazil, that's potentially 10-12 groups (depending on if a unfamiliar face comes out strong that year) that's already settled since like you said they'll already play defensively. This makes the group stages moot that you might as well have a 48 team bracket.

Speaking of which, a 32 team bracket is disgusting. You are already getting weaker teams reaching Quarter finals by getting lucky paths and this will only shoot up their chances. And in this scenario, by weaker teams I mean weaker teams that play defensively and bank on PKs. This is a nightmare of a format.

You'd want the game to grow and have weaker teams get out of their comfort zones(like Algeria did), not celebrate their uninspiring approach. And who's to say stronger teams wont try this as well to rest their players? It'll be an ugly tournament.

That's not counting the Qualification rounds losing mad money and viewership for being even duller or the fact that the tournament being longer equals to longer and more expensive preparations that will effect federations, clubs, hosting countries, and even the players themselves.

The current format has its problem but it is in the sweet spot range.

And the worst thing about this new format is that it's not innovative at all, it's just adding more vanilla on top of a vanilla-based foundation. they're just adding more teams and bloating the damn thing. It's truly uninspiring. I bet a bunch of amateur teams can create a better format than that.

But this all sounds too familiar to be honest. This just screams sucking up more funds for a "bigger" event and using "more opportunities" as an excuse. Heard that a billion times before.

FIFA keeps doing this shady shit man. Like what the fuck has hosting the world cup done to South Africa? Or what will it do for Russia and has done to Brazil that's not already done footballing-wise? Or fuck me, the fuck is it gonna do to Qatar of all places, a nation that's never even played in the World Cup before. Blatter left but FIFA keeps stuffing their pockets, I swear these assholes are gonna kill the game one day.

BTW this isn't totally directed at you, I just needed to vent.

Suso has really come out of his shell, but I see Deulofeu at Everton being better than Suso was his entire career until he returned from Genoa...

And this new WC format is just going to bloat the tournament with shit teams. The WC always has shitter quality because it has to incorporate teams that are shit. Now, we increase the amount of teams and bam, more shit teams.

Not even going to mention the stupid idea of penalties to decide every draw. Welcome to 1980s American premature ejaculation football. Might as well make a World XI team to compete as well.

Montella: "There will be some changes tomorrow but I won't change the whole team. I won't do more than one change for every phase."

Montella: "With two strikers we unlocked the game against Cagliari. We don't have a 3rd or 4th striker but this module is a possibility."

Montella: "Cutrone will train today with us, as well as Hamadi, if it's necessary we will also look at the players in the youth sector."

I hope we play with 4-4-2, I want to see Zuzo playing behind like Bonaventura with Bacca & Niang in attack, Zuzo should give balls to them and should never ever be a main player of our attack, he is just not good.
