For the first 20 years Galliani can be respected for the last ten years of his stint with Milan he cannot!. As far as I am concerned the rot started with the sale of Sheva (Milan announced itself as a selling club) The fact we never replaced the void left by Sheva and so many others is testament to where we are now.

It is certain the new management has failed horribly. There were no guarantees however much was spent. Some of the labelled flops could yet yield positive outcomes others may not, that is the gamble of football.

As much criticism as Montella was guilty of he would be a better option than Rino at least until the seasons end. We appointed so many coaches who were not ready and expected more than they could ever deliver. New owners does not equate to instant rebirth/success. B&G had their time with Milan and started so well but have been the main players in the decline.

What happens from here is entirely up to those who control the funds hopefully someone with clarity can fix the the mess Milan finds itself in. The likes of F&M are expendable. I don't expect Rino to last much longer. We will rub shoulders with the giants of football again but it will take time and patience.

A decade of poor management will not be fixed in one season!. There will be bumps/falls/failures but in the end the goal will always be the same to be an elite club again. At this moment in time we are as far as we can be from that goal, all we can hope is that we can some day return to a club that is feared and respected.

Yes this is frustrating but if anyone expected anything other than this after the last ten years of B&G's poor decisions you are naive. Money is not a guarantee it will require time to get it right. An excellent starting point would be not to appoint an in-experienced former legend and expect greatness immediately.(it can work but more often than not it fails)

As frustrating as it is to watch Milan now i would say in all honesty this is a real low point. Over the years i have seen low points with better squads. We bounced back and while it may take longer this time round we will do so again. Whom will start that rebirth who knows ?
