My second time opening match thread. Always keep that sliver of hope that pioli can help our players pick up their confidences.

1 pts is miracle
3 pts is heaven

Forza milan!!!!!!!

Good thing is that Juve doesn't score much in general, especially against real teams like Torino, Parma, Genoa only 1-2 goals.

Considering we are a bit worse than these teams, it shouldn't be more than 3:0, which is not much of an embarrassment. At least nothing that we are not used to

May the referees have mercy on us and not kick on an already fallen club

This will no doubt be our best performance of the season only to lose 1 - 0(via pen)

Matthijs de Ligt is out of the Juventus squad travelling to Lokomotiv Moscow for the Champions League game due to a sprained ankle

Out for the Milan game I assume?

Just give them the 3 points now.

At least it will help prevent Inter winning the scudetto.

I hope we can at least rely on this.

Don't really want another Alex Sandro handball.

0-0 at 60'. 2-0 at 90' due to 2 individual mistakes by Milan defenders/midfielders.

We should drop 4-3-3 we dont have the talent or the experience to play such an attacking minded formation.

We will need to find a way around their intense pressing and perhaps to attack behind Cuadrado through Theo's bursting runs.

I would go for 4-4-1-1

Gigio

Musacchio
Duarte
Romagnoli
Rodriguez

Krunic
Bennacer
Kessie
Theo

Calhanoglu

Piatek

This would be a nice experiment.
Juve should handily win this one.

BUT

Who would be the genius/idiot to bet on Milan winning? ;)
We are in MafiaA after all :o
Milan to win 2-1 (CR7 - Suso, Leao)

As long as we perform with high intensity like against lazio I won’t complain.

I enjoyed the lazio match even when we lost

The lineup Pioli is working on in the view of the Juventus game:
Donnarumma; Duarte, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Conti, Bennacer, Biglia/Kessie, Theo Hernandez; Paqueta, Calhanoglu; Piatek.

Suso is apparently gonna be fit which means another static performance . I’d rather confirm lose than watch another non movement static shit game due to Suso.

I like the 3-4-2-1 although I’d deffo use Leao instead of Serie B Level Piatek . He’s gonna get owned so hard by Juve defenders and midfielders. The guy has no pace, can’t hold up the ball or make simple passes and keeps crying and diving all game. It’s fucking pathetic tbh. Atleast Leao will move around create space which Paqueta Hakan Theo can potentially expoloit.

3421. I guess the experiment with asymmetry is out the window after the two extremely avoidable goals against Lazio. Theo will have an easier time knowing Rodriguez is always behind him, and same with Conti with Duarte. It just means obviously we have one less man in midfield, so i'm expecting Paqueta and Hakan to drop pretty deep, maybe even ending up a flat 541 when defending.

It's simpler than what we've been trying and we'll have to sacrifice Paqueta once Suso is back. My guess is it will be Kessie on the right again and Bennacer on the left, since there's no special need to protect Theo anymore.

Could be interesting to play two up front with this with Leao + Piatek and Hakan behind them, since we don't need the attackers for width anymore.

Since we're man marking now also this will feel a lot like an Atalanta side. Good for Kessie, Conti and eventually Caldara I guess.
