He is a great player!
I prefer Krasic but Jovanovic plays more offensivly, maybe a little bit faster than Krasic and have a much more accurate shoot than Krasic. He can equally adopt to play as a winger (left) or as a striker.
He can shoot with both legs and can jump too ;-)
In this game he is number 14 and has scored 2 goals, starting from 1:50.
Enjoy.

Does he have a passport? I assume belgian one since he's been there so long.

He's a perfect fit for 4-3-3 for LW and RW.... Krasic is more of a midfielder than this guy (forgive the poor comparison but it's like a messi/CR9 winger as opposed to a ribery/figo type) . As a backup for ronaldinho and pato, sounds good to me. I don't mind someone more exerienced since Pato is soo young and adiyiah is also. we don't necessarily need 3 of our 4 wide players to be U20

Let's just hope he's not like another awesome Milan. Milan Baros!

Milan Jovanovic is a good player, but I preffer Krasic over him. And there is no way of us getting them both.

Krasic is to expensive for Milan... they just don't wont to give away that kind of money ...

Thought Milan weren't buying this winter. But this guy is quality I've seen him and he could be a nice addition.

Dunno about the passport but he will only be free in the summer, now he would cost about 4 to 6 million (Standard would rather keep him for Uefa and let him go for free in the summer than just let him walk for 2 mil now)

It's strategy. That's why he has the job he has.

+1..nowadays, you can't come out and say that your going for a specific player, because then everyone will wanna snag him up before you do..just like sixonefive said..

First of all, Jovanovic applied Belgian passport a few months ago
Second, he is currently recovering from surgery, so it would be great for now to reach an agreement with Lane to sign with us in summer...Get him for free and in top form after the WC :)

He is supposed to join us in June.
Another Standard-dumping project for Milan, Gooch wasn't Milan-material and neither is Jovanovic, everyone in Belgium is laughing with Milan-policy with Standard:head:

to be honest it seems like we have an agreement with standard(i know they're our feeder club) to buy all there older not as good players.

if i was galliani, i would try and buy; defour, witsel and mbokani. they seem t be the best players there and they are all young and have potential. not onyewu and jovanovic.

i only see the point if it is to get them on free transfers and then sell them to smaller clubs, who think "oh, he played for milan. he must be good let's give him a chance"

Listen, you can call it 99,99% An interview that was supposed to be only published next week in Voetbalmagazine with Standard coach d'Onofrio has leaked:

http://www.express.be/articles/?act...=email&utm_term=Milan Jovanovic&utm_campaign=

So he's coming, he's hands down the best player in the Belgian League atm, absolutely no new Owenyu transfer, BUT I'm affraid that he's the cheapskate Dzeko, Dzeko is TONS better and the Serie A defenses are much more stronger than the Belgian pudding defenses he is used to score against, so big question mark, he's on a free so it's a good move BUT only if it doesn't mean we are dropping Dzeko I would enrage to see the latter play in Juventus for example.
