Fifa 17

A teaser trailer.

- manager faces
- new cover stars, since Messi didn't renew his contract.

They are Hazard, Reus, Jamea and Martial. Imo they should have made place for Pogba

Better be a big improvement in Career mode, like massive.

The career mode structure in 16' is what was acceptable in fifa 08.

Frostbite engine though makes me very excited, i admit.

Fuck FIFA :o

Every year is a "big improvement" my big black ass

FIFA 16 is almost unplayable as you routinely have players OUTRUNNING your passes  The interceptions are absurd. The ball ALWAYS moves faster than the player in general, but in this game it's the opposite

Also there are numerous instance that the game simply takes over and determines the outcome. You could organize your defense perfectly and they will part like the Red Sea to allow a striker in.

You can station a defender at the far post and a ball will still sneak in without him batting an eye.

Unless you are absolutely and squarely facing a direction, you can't pass or shoot the ball in said direction...which is fucking ridiculous since if you have to simulate this motion, then you have to simulate the counter-response to it...which isn't.

Milan is pure shit.....that's realistic I guess

Maybe I get more salty every year as Milan becomes more shit every year....I remember beating the shit out of everybody in 2004-2005 *sigh*

Milan are weak and the game screws you if you expect your defence to play consistently but most weeks (when Milan ratings aren't nuked after a loss) I play well and kick back at div 1-2 often

my team is always the following (an adjusted 433(4) with Honda + Jack brought in closer to attacking mid positions. Also Monto sits the deepest.

Niang
Jack Honda
Prince Boa
Montolivo - Kucka
Antonelli - Romagnoli - Mexes - Abate
Madonnarumma

You're right though, previous years were much easier however last season I think was the worst.

Players that come off the bench are Mexes for Honda if he is ineffective and De Sciglio in case I lose a fullback. Mario Balotelli used to play where Prince is (Attacking mid) and was fantastic but Prince moves around slightly more.

I love Niang. Bacca doesn't even smell game time because he doesn't bring as much to the table as Niang

Pass.

Do we got 3 stars this year?

I play, Diego--DES--Roma--Mexes--Abate then Monto Kucka and in front of them Balotelli then 3 strikers, LW Bonaventura, ST Bacca, RW Menez/Niang

Sub out Balo for Honda when tired, Niang for Menez, and Boateng for Monto

Currently in division 1

Fifa 12 was dope.

Qaas 12-06-2016 23:18

opening thread post updated..

New gamemode: story mode ..
Probably won't play it though. When I was younger.. yes

AndreiX 12-06-2016 23:23

inb4 a nba 2k16 - like shitshow

pre-made characters are doomed to become boring and ultimately fail to impress

it's going to be nice for the first hour or so. a 2nd playthrough will probably impossible to enjoy for most

Garbage

I turned my back on FIFA the first time since FIFA 99 this year.

And I have to say, although they don't have as many license and not as many players, PES's game play was on point although there are scripting too. The option of allowing you to edit teams and players is also great too.

Nestafan 14-07-2016 16:43

Does barely anybody do the manager career mode anymore?

That's the best thing about these games.

I do. But after awhile you figure out all the ways to make unrealistic exchanges for players and it gets boring. That and the fact that the transfers from other teams make the teams unrecognizable almost after 1 season.
