Swap Baka for Kessie and that’s a strong bench.

The Albin Ekdals don't have his physique or athleticism or ability to move the ball forward.

Bonucci was nominated for ballon d'or in 2017.

Biglia moved from Anderlecht to Lazio when he was 27 years old. He spent his career in average teams.

Biglia was a 31 year old in decline.

He had only one year left in his contract with Lazio.

He and Mascherano were the weakest players in Argentina's national team, and you could notice that. Maradona said he did not understand why Biglia was called up (just before we signed him).

Probably the dumbest signing of the decade.

Yeah, truly. He had looked good at Lazio, myself and others thought he would be fine here. Instead he was so washed up and put in less than a handful of good performances in his 3 years here. Signed on his last year of contract for a large sum and on a big wage. Awful.

Even with Lazio he was quite injury prone, but even if he wasn't, there's no way he was worth that sum at 31 years old.

Also, that signing pushed away Locatelli, without getting a short term improvement.

I would have kept Jos? Sosa that in 2017 spring was starting to figure out how to play the deep lying playmaker role, instead of giving him away for pennies.
