Great player, will only improve towards the summer. Very important piece.

Rickaka 08-03-2018 21:02

it says a lot that i was hoping for 33 yo montolivo to replace him

Monto would probably have been the better choice for this match anyway as he is more physical.

irkuysm 09-03-2018 03:51

Montolivo 2.0

Qaas 09-03-2018 04:59

I seriously can not understand how an argetinian midfielder who is supposed to be a good dm can miss place so many passes.

Ronin 18-03-2018 15:04

Why didn't he play vs Arsenal? Suspended?

technical choice

Birsaforever 18-03-2018 17:02

Very good game.

vidarth 18-03-2018 17:04

Very good game today. He is a quality player....nothing more nothing less.

Ronin 18-03-2018 19:32

Great game indeed. I'm very satisfied with him overall. He will be enough for this role for 1-2 more years... if we have money for midfield, I would invest in a WC option for Bona's place (while keeping him as rotation player) and a vice-Kessie (Kucka comeback would be enough).

Ronin 05-04-2018 17:40

Missed him greatly yesterday... you can see by the difference of play in the game vs juventus (where we played much better, although lost).

necromancer 06-04-2018 06:15

See how much we missed his very basic but very essential skill of positioning? With Biglia, our defense gets better. He has been very good last two months.

fray 22-04-2018 12:47

"Lucas Biglia has suffered a slight lumbar fracture in his back and should be sidelined for around 5-6 weeks.
Milan can confirm that tests have shown Biglia has sustained a fracture to his first two lumbar vertebrae."

Ronin 22-04-2018 13:28

fucking Benevento butchers

I hope we still do manage to get EL spot without him, although it's been visible how much we miss him when he's not playing.

People saying we don't need EL are not true fans. EL means more games of our favorite team, that we get to see..

It means exposure to international games which is important for this inexperienced squad.

Albertini 22-04-2018 13:43

the good news is locatelli has played loads of games recently so hes more than ready to step into the first team for the rest of the season.....

mleite 22-04-2018 21:41

Terrible news. Get well soon Lucas!

Aguero to TyC Sports on Papu Gomez’s challenge on Biglia: “It is normal that Lucas was furious, if it had happened to me I would’ve waited for Gomez in the tunnel.”

Biglia Hits Out at Papu Gomez

Lucas Biglia hit out at Atalanta captain and Argentina teammate Papu Gomez for a crunching tackle and lack of apology.
The Milan midfielder thought his World Cup participation was at risk after recovering in record time from a back fracture only to then be clattered from behind by Gomez during a 1-1 draw with Atalanta.
“During that incident, I was perfectly aware he was behind me, which is why I got back up infuriated,” Biglia told Argentine paper Ole.

“In all honesty, I expected him to apologise on the pitch or straight after, but nothing. I prefer to look forward now.”
Papu Gomez did write an apology via Instagram, but that did not impress Biglia.
“We are not friends, we just play for the same national team. I don’t use social media, not even Twitter or Facebook, so an apology via Instagram isn’t going to do much for me.
“For example, the Benevento player (Nicolas Viola) who caused the previous injury came to visit me in hospital.
“I was so angry because I felt this horrible pain and was afraid that I had hurt my back again. I remember that night I returned home and worked with the physiotherapist until 5am.”

Oh wow, that's a nice gesture

Lucas Biglia looks set to be dropped by coach Sampaoli ahead of the game against Croatia after a disappointing performance against Iceland. Banega or Lo Celso will start in his place. [Corriere della Sera]

Burlesqoni 19-06-2018 09:39

I think it's probably best for him to rest to be honest.

His back injury was pretty significant and then Papu re-aggravated it. He isn't getting any younger and I would rather he rest during the World Cup than carry on with poor form and risk additional injuries.

Neruda 19-06-2018 14:35

he wasnt even that bad against iceland.... mascherano tho...

Hugh Janus 19-06-2018 15:02

He was the worst and I'm his huge fan.

I think it was a bad move to start that game with two DMs, it was either Biglia or Mascherano.

kevin_dk 30-06-2018 05:40

Mascherano is crippled af- but is still considered better than Biglia by the Argentine management.

 Mascherano is the Argentine management.

Birsaforever 30-06-2018 17:09

An overpaid old player that gave us little improvement but worsened our situation with financial fair play.

Judging a players ability by the judgement of Sampaoli, let's sign Meza because he must be better than Dybala.

Qaas 30-06-2018 22:32

Naah he isn’t a worse player than mascherano in 2018.

20m Biglia or 20m Bertolacci

which was worse?

dcfcfan1 26-08-2018 00:16

We so need a back up for this guy. We are so reliant on him and it will hurt us, as bakayoko cant play as a regista. We may need to change formation if he continues to be so off form

Maradona:

"They wanted Messi to solve everything, but he passed the ball to Biglia and got returned a cart of cobblestones"

Vulture was mad last year when Bibarelli was spending €20m for this old fodder with 1 year contract, but “Bibarelli is building a team, the fucker knows what he is doing”

Polotelli 26-08-2018 10:23

scenes when Monto will take over :fp:
