i prefer the one with manly look..sorry..he's a boy

but, he's did great job, especially by assisting..
a deadly threat for rui

first time i saw him in the last world cup against costa rica..he's
not that good during his old days, i think.

mamma_mia! 18-09-2003 11:45

LOL i just remembered when i saw the starting 11 before the CL match i didn't recognise Kaka at first :head: i think the camera was moving fast hehehe. But all these action shots remind me of those cartoon characters like on Pokemon and dragonball Z lol.
Unforunately i don't know any facts on Kaka so i may have to get back to u on that one....

Kyara 18-09-2003 14:03

KaKa is simply excellent, incredible, I just don't have enough words to describle him   Once you watch him fly with the ball, you immediately fall in love :D
I admire these types of players who can run fast, fly with the ball and dribble as if nothing's in front of them at all ... We definitely need someone who's both creative and realistic in his style at the same time!!
This is a nice picture I think, although I don't like the on on the right :o

It's kinda difficult to look for his pics though, 'cause Kaka is a name of a bird (A parrot from New Zealand to be precise  )

FORZA KAKA!!

Ms. Maldini 18-09-2003 16:38

I think Kaka has demonstrated that he has the potential to be one of the great players......he has only been with Milan for a short period of time and already he is starting to shine.......he is young and still adapting, just give him a little bit more time......he will blow everyone's minds away!!!!!!!!!

FORZA KAKA!!!!!!!!!! :) :devil2:

K-J 18-09-2003 17:53

can't find much info and pix of him :(

i'll keep searching tho :D

forzamilan 18-09-2003 18:04

Kaka is really really good, a good vision of the game et very young, that's cool for Milan and for us

ps: do you know that kaka is the words that childrens use to say POO in french, that's suck too

so i decided to call him RICARDO SANTOS, this is better for everyone ;)

takahan 18-09-2003 21:03

Is still early to tell.
I only seen him play one match,
but I do have high hopes for him

KingSheva 18-09-2003 22:53

Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite born on april 22 1982, in Brasilia ( Brazilian Capital) starts to play football very early, and has been accepted to play on big team called Sao Paulo when he was 8 years old. Different from others brazilian players he comes from a rich family. His nickname Kaka is because he looks young so in brazil little kids called Ricardo gets a nickname Kaka, but it usually changes with time, but he still keeps his babyface, so still have that nickname.
In brazil girls says he is handsome, but he is very shy and very religious. He likes religious music, in brazil in his room door has a message saying "a Happy kid have Jesus in his heart". His prefered meal is a barbecue with "picanha" ( a part of the cow) with garlic.

You will see the diference because his nickname is Kaká and not Kaka. hehe a little diference, but makes diference when saying... and the meaning too....

makaveli 19-09-2003 12:44

to tell you the truth his nickname is what i don't like at him becasue in albanian kaka it mean's shit :( . but however who give's a damn abou his name. he is really tall and he can easily change position to classic striker or center forward because his shooting is exellent all he need's to do is a little improvement on his heading. and the thing hat amazes me the most at him is the technique that he posses with all that tall body i mean all the player's that i know with great technique are short (maradona, pele, deco etc). he's got everything to be a geat player. only 21.

FORZA KAKA

K-J 19-09-2003 18:08

in Indonesian Kaka means brother/sister

btw yeah where is warmth? :D

do u mean "kakak" as in older brother or sister?
anyway, same pronounciation...
about kaka, damn i really need to subscribe a sattelite first... i've never seen him playing, but the media praised him a lot so did the milan players, that could only mean he's really good...

Euro_champs 19-09-2003 19:48

It doesnt matter what his name means atleast he is a very talented player. ;)

LyonBR 19-09-2003 19:51

In portuguese kaka is the words children use for dirty thing or even shit, but his nickname is kak(á) a shortname for Ricardo , also in portuguese the word "pára" means stop and the word "para" means for... So using diferent pronunciations we have diferent meanings....

ferruginouz 20-09-2003 06:02

If he could maintain the way he play nowadays.. i think he'll be a superstar in the future... he's really young and he already taking rui place in a team such milan.... not just that.. he already play in a such champions team like brazil...

Agree. He is already a high level player with great potential.

Rivaldo-11 01-10-2003 15:16

Azira, same thing happened to me as did to you. When the camera was going through the Milan team i noticed an unfamiliar face, at first i didnt know who it was and then i saw Kaka in the line-up. He was the last person i expected Ancelotti to start - thank god he did.

mamma_mia! 02-10-2003 03:44

Hey i think this is what some of u guys were talking about:

Mariah Carey goes gaga for Kaka

SAO PAULO, Dec 6 (SW) - During a trip to Brazil to record a Christmas special, American pop diva Mariah Carey went gaga over Brazil's WC'2002 winning baby-of-the-squad, Kaka.

Carey, who refused to be photographed with anyone; except the 20 year old sensation, whom she couldn't keep her hands off during the shooting of their photo, which led to rumors that the two stars involvement went beyond the photo shoot.

Kaka, who is Brazil's most eligiable bachelor is said to be headed to Europe, with Bayern Munich, Milan, Juventus, and Manchester United the most likely spots.

PaTtA_9 07-10-2003 14:56

the only thing that scares me bout Kaka is that soon real will see that he is future world player of the year and will offer us heaps and heaps of cash for him. i hope he never leaves milan, i hope he stays with us until he retires

sheva7 07-10-2003 19:43

Do u think Milan will transfer him-don't think about it!!!!!!!!!
Galiani needn't money coz he has Silvio who can give cash in every moment to Milan and Real can go to hell, they won't get our diamond even in 200 milion bucks.

Gatorbasu 07-10-2003 23:18

Can you imagine even a few days ago, we were considering this kid with CHRISTIANO RONALDO of Portugal. Now you tell me who is better.

BTW, REAL is not the only rich club in the world. In fact last year, our revenue was either more or very close to REAL. So, don't worry about money.

But definitely, MILAN should do more with their GLOBAL reach and make a bigger and better fan base.

Do you really think he'll be a world player of the year in the future? Does everyone else think the same or think that there's a chance that he will? I certainly hope he'll be the world's best player with AC Milan.

sheva7 08-10-2003 08:22

Ye i think so.

got-milan? 08-10-2003 09:00

No need to say more.. He has already proved us that he's capable of playing with us ... he's simply inexplicable .. young, good, and getting better each time ... hail to kaka' :devil2:

r4gs 08-10-2003 12:46

Yeah i agree. Kaka is definitely one to take on the world at his feet. Just we all wait and see... ;)

READ THIS REPORT !!

ROME, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Italy's sports press has hailed its latest hero, Brazilian midfielder Kaka, after the 21-year-old inspired AC Milan to a resounding 3-1 victory in the city derby with Inter at the weekend.

Kaka: AC Milan's new Brazilian hero (Photography/GettyImages)

'Never has a young player made such a sweet impact at the San Siro stadium,' said Tuesday's La Gazzetta dello Sport, comparing Kaka's emergence with such Milan greats as Marco Van Basten.

Kaka - a nine-million euros ($10.5 million) close-season signing from Brazilian club San Paolo - won the free kick that set up Milan's opening goal before scoring the second.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani added his voice to the chorus of praise. 'He's born to be our number 10 and soon he'll be one of the best players in the world,' he was quoted as saying in La Gazzetta.

Kaka has quickly established himself - maybe too quickly for some team mates. He was expected to spend most of his first Serie A season watching Rui Costa and Rivaldo from the bench.

Instead, Kaka has easily eclipsed his more experienced rivals for the playmaker role behind strikers Filippo Inzaghi and Andrei Shevchenko.

His derby goal - his first in a Milan shirt - highlighted Rui Costa's continuing failure to score. The Portuguese has hit the target just once since joining at the start of 2001-02.

The biggest loser appears to be his compatriot Rivaldo, who watched Sunday's derby from the stands.

Rivaldo-11 19-10-2003 06:56

I hope he stays at Milan for his entire career.
