the thiago of silva must stay.

if the report is true, allegri has to stop conflicting with the talented players and having fallouts/benching em.

we witnessed a poor pippo season this year (has he scored? i dont think so :() Pirlo left cos Allegri preferred MvB (he shoulda just changed formation to accommodate both + motivate him) and now TS33?

i don't believe he has so much as even raised his voice to thiago silva. the man is incredible

but abate - yeah get mad

I agree with a few things except he should also not treat Silva any differently to other players, excluding that he is that good which he doesn't need to, which in Silvas case makes sense.

Accomodating two 30+ players together in the centre of the pitch is not something I agree with however and we should be working as hard as we can to trim them out.I respect the Senatores for what they have achieved and done but only against the lowly depths of Serie A should they be allowed to play together.

According to reports in spain , barca are ready to offer 26 million + keita (estimated at 4 million) . Barca is a joke , they would need to offer almost double that for G to even listen to the offer .

last time our mgmt said a player's chance of leaving was "impossible"... do you remember what happened? and who that player was?

better not happen again.

If I remember correctly, that initial report came from AS, which is sometimes dubious when it comes to rumors.

When it comes to Barça's current board, they're a bit more careful about what they spend on when it comes to players. Rosell has managed to get the club's spending under a bit control in the last few years. They're not going to overspend on a player like they did when Laporta was president.

That was just two players. If they do spend that same amount again, it'll be on at least three players this time around. Not seeing them spending more than they should on one player when they could easily use the same amount to shore up the other areas that need to be addressed *shrug*

If he hadn't gotten hurt I feel we would have won the Scudetto+CL. :'(

I am NOT blaming Allegri though.

Even if Milan want to cash on him, he should not be sold to Barça. They would start a transfer saga, try bring the price down putting the player against the club and all the stuff they did with Mascherano and Fabregas.

Besides, I'm sure Chelsea or City would outbid Barcelona and don't make any drama.

We are two Class signings way from a champions league final.

We must invest.

thiago's and/or ibra's leaving is one thing i'm really scared off ATM. selling either one of them means rebuilding a new squad.

B said last year he'll invest but no significant investment have been done. let's see if he keep his word now. i don't care if it means he have to sell some part of the club to the prince with diamond cars :o

Thiago Silva even said just before the Inter game that he could not play & was just not fit enough to play in such a game, to do the side & himself justice was not possible at present. The medical staff backed him up & Allegri said he always goes with the player & medics.

Thiago Silva came back to train with the team around two & a half weeks ago & after afew days this was abandoned & he has worked in the gym for the last 2 weeks. He clearly cannot play & the medical staff said the same thing with Allegri always just praying he would be back.

When Silva played in the cup at Juve & was risked at home to Roma it was a joint decision from Silva, medics & the coach & it did not work out. If one had said it was not possible he would not have played them two games. Pato even just said the same thing regarding his comeback.

Since being injured Silva has done several interviews & joke peices that have shown he has no problems. It is just one of them slight gambles that fails from time to time, but it just shows how important Silva game his to the team that he his probably Milan's most important player now.

I said of course that Milan would not sell Kaka' but they did for financial reasons what with the world record fee received at the time later beaten by Ronaldo & also the world high salary Milan had had forced on them by his father. It was clearly the right decision for both financial & football reasons since proven by his nightmare in Spain. With Silva though it is different in that he earns a very good wage but not the top & if Milan have to sell then Ibra would have to go since he earns an incredible wage even though he's a terrific player.

Defence wins you competitions & with the great Alessandro Nesta nearing the end & with age & problems with his body meaning only being able to play around 15 top games a season Milan need Silva more than they have needed an individual player for a long long time. Milan's other players at the back are unreliable in lots of cases.

To lose Thiago Silva would be a disaster & surely Milan would never sell & I think they have said as much.

Everything also suggests that Silva has enjoyed an excellent relationship with Allegri as a coach & the coach has basically made Silva number 1 in that he has been the top defender & also playmaker to some extent with the great Andrea Pirlo moving on. The stories made up by the press of fallings out are always 100% rubbish as we have seen with other Milan players & management saying as much recently.

So let me get this straight:

Silva should fuck right off because he refused to play because he felt he wasn't fit enough? Because it would risk his Olympics ambitions? Because he didn't put the club first?

That's pretty rich coming from posters like SM84, the same posters who defended Allegri's decision to play him against Roma. The same posters who hypothesized that it was Silva, and not Allegri who took the decision to play the game against Roma...

Have you guys ever wondered, that maybe, just maybe - that Silva didn't wan't a repeat of that? And can you guys blame him if he didn't wanna risk it?

Have you guys ever wondered, that maybe, just maybe, Silva did not wan't to play the game against Roma but was forced to do so anyway? (Cut the BS that coaches can't force players to play the match if they don't want to. They don't have to physically force them. Silva may have agreed to play but it is a possibility that it was made it out like there was no other choice)

I feel it is a bit rich of people to bash him for not wanting to play because he didn't want to risk missing the Olympics. Silva is a Brazilian, and for him it's an honor to reperesent his country. Why should we hold it against him if he thinks representing his country is more important than representing his club, who has only played for a mere 3 years?

And yea, if it was between Allegri and Silva - I would choose Silva everytime. Yea yea I know we should always support the coach but guess what? Allegri hasn't showed he deserves that kind of respect (like the likes of SAF and Mourinho do) and neither can the club can afford to piss of one of it's very few star players....

If anything, Silva has constantly shown what a stand up person he is by his actions on and off the pitch. If he is pissed at Allegri, you can bet that it isn't due to him feeling entitled or any of that sort of BS

Silva was never going to play against Inter since he was not training with the team. Allegri hoped he would play as everyone did but the chances where very small.

Allegri plays Silva all the time especially when Nesta has been unavailable because he knows the team cannot do without him.

Take Aquilani & Cassano out of Milan's side which as happened for massive parts of this season & Milan lack creative ability hence Silva becomes even more important since Milan are going to have to defend well since they are unlikely to score alot.

More pressure on him now that Nesta won't be around next season. But I trust him that he will lead our backline well and that hopefully he would lead us into the new great chapter in Milan.

Truth.

The words of nesta saying "milan already has the new nesta", being T.33, he knows that its on his shoulders and he is ready to carry the torch on..love this guy to death and don't see him leaving anytime soon..
