I've finally figured out what this man's function in Milan is. Galliani hired him to play George Clooney's role from 'Up in the air'.

Mister Transition-accelerator.

cleaning up the system ... garbage out

forza allegri .. if only carlo had the balls :o

Was far more difficult for Carlo. These guys were 5 years younger. Nowadays, they can barely walk. Remember Inzaghi, dead tired after 10 minutes, Clarence, in the mean time we added Zambro who is in a similar condition, and so on.
No remits to Max for the revolution. It happened w/o his influence. And he pushed away Pirlo ho still had 2-3 more years in his legs. Max did wrongly everything he possibly could.

I won't condemn Allegri. He led us to the title last year and we finished second by a substantial margin this year and made it to CL QF despite being decimated by injuries. He can't stop the passage of time and it was likely our beloved senatores would have left this season or next no matter who the coach.

It's only natural that those players leaving have fonder memories of Carletto because he was the coach of their 20s and early 30s. "Allegri's" Milan will really be El Sha, KPB, Noccerino and the rest of the younger players.

His sniping war with Pirlo is the only thing I'll roll my eyes at :fp: They sound like bitter exes. Did they have a thing that went sour?

More Italians- like when we had Nesta, Maldini, Pirlo, Gattuso, and Inzaghi, at the core of the team.

Saturday May 12 2012 Allegri: 'I don't care what Pirlo says'

Massimiliano Allegri prepares for next season with Riccardo Montolivo at Milan and sends a message to Andrea Pirlo. “I don’t care what he says.”

The Coach has nothing more to play for this term and takes on already-relegated Novara this afternoon.

I must compliment Juventus, as they had an extraordinary year and deserve this Scudetto. This does not mean it was a failure for Milan, though,” said Allegri.

We won it last season, went close this time and hope to be competitive in Europe and Serie A next year too.

Next season Montolivo will arrive and he is a very talented player with great technique. In any case, Milan will remain competitive next year and we must continue the work we started last season. We need to begin again with great enthusiasm.”

Montolivo is a free agent, as his contract with Fiorentina expires on June 30.

There is the sensation this is the end of an era, as Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso, Pippo Inzaghi and Mark van Bommel have all confirmed they are leaving Milan, while Clarence Seedorf and Gianluca Zambrotta are expected to follow with their contracts expiring next month.

These are going to be difficult days, as we are saying goodbye to players and men who have written Milan history. It must be a celebration for those lads who are leaving and I thank them for giving their all. Unfortunately you cannot hold back time.

To be here for 10 years and win so many trophies means you have a very strong mentality. We’re finishing a season and an era.”

There was already a sign of change within the Rossoneri camp last summer, when Andrea Pirlo joined Juventus on a free transfer and proved decisive in the Scudetto race. The veteran midfielder sniped at Allegri, suggesting the Coach “didn’t want” him around.

I thank Pirlo for the hard work he put in last year. I evaluate players when I have them at my disposal. After that, I don’t care what they do or say,” replied Allegri.

Mister, please put on Nesta and Pippo earlier in the 2nd half ok?? They do not deserve to be subbed late on for the sake of football fans around the world. I trust you. Grazie :):D

Allegri did a pretty damn good job finishing second with barely a full squad for the majority of the year and taking them to the quarter-finals against Barca.

Honestly, people just need to be patient - Berlu and Uncle Fester know what's best for the team and I trust in Max's work

Isn't this the guy who beat Mourihno to the best coach award while at Cagliary? And people talk trash about him. He's just unlucky. Pep cleaned up barca but had younger players to work with. Allegri worked a miracle with these senators if you ask me. He's not a veteran coach so I expect him to make mistakes (even veterans get it wrong anyway). I believe in this guy.

zach never get to 1/8 LC. max is better :g:

Indeed that makes a difference. Take the performance last year and this year in CL and you'll see it's Rapid Wien level. We were lucky to have 2 shit teams in the group stages.

It was all written in the stars Pirlo to leave Milan, and then revenge himself upon his former club. Milan were doomed to lose the title and Juventus to take it. Pirlo was indeed the Nemesis of the season 2011-12.
