Overpowered, overclassed.

Let´s be honest, if we would have gotten a result today we would have punched above our weight. We´re not on the same par as juventus but we will be soon, keep faith.

not with this free transfer/no spending policy we wont

Before there is a meltdown here, I want to make a point -

People need to remember we came from. We finished 8th and were unwatchable last year. Cant beat the best team in Italy just like that. We're not at their level, but we will improve. I expect a great season.

Let's move onto the next 4 games where 12 points are more than possible.

FORZA MILAN

To add to this -

Positives were Zapata and Rami. Both were excellent defensively, but in build up, as expected, pretty bad.

Muntari was fucking TERRIBLE. What a shit fucking performance.

Poli who I criticized a lot lately was great defensively. He closed down Juve players and won a lot of balls. Well played from him.

Sven - please please please ban the 'what happen to my "AC"' dude but ONLY on match days for the next 2 weeks.

Secondly, Milan lost to the #1 team in the league 1-0, albeit a shit display, the world didn't stop spinning. Third is still an attainable and absolutely critical goal this year. Today didn't change shit.

Bounce back against Empoli and Cesena and the others now.

Gosh what do we have to do to get a Pogba level player in our midfield. That guy had a field day.

His hair is ludacris though :o

Inzaghi said that when we lose. We will lose because the other team is better, not because they tried harder. Sums up tonights match. The hype before the match was a lot, and it seemed like people expected a 38 winning streak. Match after match we will get to see how far this team can go, hopefully we will work on our mistakes and improve.

That was an absolute garbage performance, we dominated them last year albeit lost.

Today we just let them pass it around, sat deep and played like complete pussies with no desire.

Menez was the only thing good about today, what a disappointment, full house with Berlusconi there aswell. Bet he didn't like what he saw.

When you have most of the possession you don't run as much. The reason they had that possession is because our back 4 clearly don't want to pass to Muntari and Poli, that's why there were so many long balls played. Given Muntari's showing when he got the ball I don't completely blame them for hitting long balls.
We weren't even pressing that much even in the first half.

No excuse for a professional football team playing at the highest level to completely run out of steam by the 70th minute.

We gave up in the second half. There's no pussyfooting around it.

Midfield needs changes. Poli runs on fumes after a certain number of minutes and Muntari just sucks. I'd like to see Van Ginkel and Bonaventura in the midfield.

Summary:

- We were totally outclassed. No point of discussing it.

- Everybody was terrible. In my book, nobody should pass from a 4. Maybe Menez at 4.5-5.

- Muntari? He had looked slightly better in previous matches however this is the usual performance of Muntari without a goal.

- Still, a work in progress.

Exactly! The only thing that pisses me of is that we lost to Juve

Can be braindead at times.
What was he thinking, going for that shot from about 35-40 yards, with all the players waiting in the box for a delivery?

Alex and Zapata i want to be our main defensive pair.

Never been a fan of Rami.

That's what happened when you try to defend the entire match and chasing the ball around , players got tired very easily. We looked much more tired than Jube who played in midweek. We still don't have a system in place, no one can control the ball and direct play in midfield. Our ball movement lacked efficiency, too many meaningless back passes. We just don't have enough quality anymore. Pippo's counter-attacking philosophy is pretty clear by now, I must say there will be a long and painful road ahead.

It's not the "losing to the best team in Italy" that matters, its the complete lack of effort.

Put him on the ignore list. It's where he belongs.

Ffs Juventus played a game midweek and was still running circles around us in the second half :fp:

This.

How do they have infinitely more energy than us, when we had a whole week to recover and they had a midweek champs league match. Missing CL looks like a blessing in disguise :o

Poli and De Jong were doing the defensive work of 3 men. Muntari was shit for the whole match, his mistakes in the last 20 mins weren't caused by fatigue. SES pulled up with cramp which isn't uncommon for young players who lack match fitness and he put in a solid shift defensively helping out DES. Menez was having to drop deep to defend then be our attacking outlet no wonder he was tired. Other than that we didn't look tired, Muntari's constant giving the ball away made us look tired

De Sciglio has been underperforming for a bit now.

It's not that he is performing bad, he's just not performing good either.

He just drifts along during the games, not really standing out much.

It's not best team in Italy bullshit and we lost "only" 0-1, well here's news, if you lose 0-1 or 0-100 it's still ZERO points

plus, scoop of the day,

we were refused not one penalty, but no two

in conclusion:

with honest refereeing, read not bought by the fiat maffia, we could have even won this shit.
