Given the reports that Kessie will sit this one out as punishment, I can't see Biglia not starting.

Yes. We need to quickly move Bakayoko to the side where we can utilize his obvious strengths without suffering due to his obvious weaknesses in the middle.

I meant another formation, not necessarily another player.

For example 4-2-3-1, with Biglia and Baka behind Hakan, Paqueta, Samu perhaps.
I was more wondering how is he going to setup midfield which includes both Biglia and Baka

Yes, i would like that.

But knowing rino he will stick to 4-3-3 and just swap kessie for biglia.

Can Biglia or Bakayoko play the Kessie role though?

The role requires a lot of running.. maybe Bakayoko could be able to do it, but i doubt Biglia can do it

Biglia to play in front of defense and baka to take kessie role.

--Paqueta------Piatek------Castillejo

--Hakan------Bakayoko----Kessie

AND

------Piatek-----------Cutrone---

------------Paqueta-----

--Hakan-----Biglia----Bakayoko

In both cases, Conti starting rightback and Zapata partnering Romagnoli.

Particularly the latter I think. It's never gonna be a proper 4-3-1-2, but Paqueta and Hakan can pretty much occupy the same spaces that they do now. And Paqueta can also drift right and combine with Conti and Bakayoko. Suso's impotence on the right is clearly our biggest offensive issue now.

The only downside to this is that you are overloading an already tired guy with 13 straight months of football in his legs.

2nd one with Samu as SS instead of Cutrone

But I’m sure Suso won’t be dropped and probably not even kessie

Yeah not that hard to run out of bounds and shoot as far away from target as possible, trust me
