Let's look ahead!

Cagliari is placed 15th in the table and this in theory should be a chance of getting a confidence boosting win with several goals scored. We really need that.

My prediction is that Rino will field the same XI.

I hope we bench some players who haven't been delivering and give a chance to players who need game time:

Donnarumma
Conti - Musacchio - Romagnoli - Rodriguez
Paqueta - Bakayoko - Calhanoglu
Castillejo - Piatek - Laxalt

Get Hakan away from that LW and give Suso and Kessie some bench time. They can come on as subs. Laxalt and Castillejo deserve some starts, they'll never be able to develop some form and be real assets if not.

Kessie was good against Roma, no need to bench him, especially not for Hakan who again had a disasterous game.

I like the ideas of the line-ups in this thread so far. We need something a bit different to mix things up, to let players rest and to give other players opportunities to shine. Against Napoli in the coppa it went very well. We need some attacking impetus and pace.

Sure Suso has been an important attacking threat but he hasn't been as effective. Perhaps he would come on to better effect against tired legs.

Laxalt has definitely staked a strong claim to start this in my view.. It would be a shame to not give him a start after that Napoli performance, and this is probably our easiest match in February.

He's kinda like bacon.. when you first start getting hooked on bacon, the taste is so good, but just a little bit short of reaching a 'fullness'. You keep waiting and waiting for it to be really good, but it never becomes so and soon enough starts tasting boring and stupid. One wonders why one liked bacon in the first place.
