I know Samu and Silva arent good but the opposition wasnt good either. That first half couldve been a Gattuso 1st half - the strikers werent given anything, fullbacks didnt really get forward and I dont think a striker had one chance to strike a ball at the net.

Just watched the match on YT since I missed it.
Jack and Paqueta in the second half looked so damn good. Leao looks like the real deal, if not still a little unused to the system. Can definitely get his game together though. Borini is fantastic as always under GP. Suso being Suso, scoring from nothing with the FK.
Krunic and Piatek were underwhelming imo, just hope Piatek is saving his energy for the season to explode again. We're still missing Kessie and Bennacer who are both very likley midfield starters so I'll save any reservations until we see a full lineup to judge. That said, so far under GP you can see a stark contrast to last season in how the team plays. Everyone has their role and knows it, just a few not really performing (Samu/Silva need to go).
