If there's any chance of getting good money, he'd be one of the first ones I would sell, while he's still got some value. We're not gonna compete for any titles in the next 2-3 years and for Serie A top3 even a Musakio-Zapata CB pair would do, if other areas are strengthened.

Bonucci and romagnoli are the only good thing about our team so how about we build the team around them

What's the point of building around a 31 y.o.? By the time we will be fighting for some silverware, he will already be fading and will have to be replaced. For now, we have bigger gaps to be filled, like striker, LB, winger, midfield, etc.

well it didnt turn out too bad for juve with barzagli and chielini

leo can lead & perform for another 3 years (or more), him and romagnoli are very good together and we should build on that (always build from the back)

Why would you ruin something that is perfect?

Musacchio and zapata ain’t shit and can’t be trusted for a whole season

Bonucci has been great since Gattuso arrived. How players played when Montella was hear is irrelevant to me, as Gattuso will be our coach next season. Biliga and Bonnuci have both been great under Gattuso

and yet without Romagnoli he hasn't proved himself to be the 40 million euro CB he was supposed to be.
of course he played with training cones such as Zapata and Musa, but a player at his level should elevate the players around him.
after all, thats why he was promoted as captain once he was signed

He said, "This Nazionale has talent coming through and we can only get stronger. France have enthusiasm and youth, but also a lot of experience with players at top clubs challenging for major honours. I think they are one of the favourites for the World Cup."

van dijk went for 75m so 40m kinda means we got a tier B defender and for what bonucci has done this season, it's a pretty good deal.

Thing with Bonucci is we paid 40m expecting an 80m defender, but we got bamboozled and got someone actually worth just the 40m.

It's very reductive to give a player value just based on their cost.

I remember people claiming Ibra was shit because we 'only' paid €24m...

Because he'd be much better if he'd have cost €40m, much better for the club too to spend more money.

Pool, Manchester City and EPL clubs are a prime example of inflation tho..
Koulibaly, Umtiti, and even Manolas are players who were signed for cheap and upgraded their shoddy defence. has Bonucci done so? not sure.

Hard to call Cutrone a flop in the beginning since there were no expectations for him

Biglia and Bonucci started slow under Montella, but then picked it up under Rino. also dont see why lep gets no credit for romagnoli becoming rock solid? hes clearly had an impact on alessio and will continue helping him develop, we really needed a leader of his status at the back

Suso was ayt under Montella but then started vanishing as season went on, Hakan seemed like a complete mistake of a signing until Rino stepped in, that list is BS. all in all considering the number of games only kessie has been consistently good throughout most of the season
