Do they have enough brazilians in the squad?

Anyway, I think he can become a good coach. Time will tell :)

By trawling through old posts in this thread, I have come to the realization that I started loving him again when he left Inter for PSG. He has been away from the limelight for so long that I had forgotten my latest feelings for him. Quite a relief!

Welcome back.

Competence is what this club needs after (at least) 6 years of horror decision after horror decision by those in charge. Hopefully he'll turn out to be the hero we need, the guy that will be remembered as the one who got Milan out of the gutter and back to where the club belongs.

I can't blame him for joining Inter, he was never a legend here. Was he a fan favourite? I don't know. But the fact that he joined them right after leaving Milan touched a nerve. But as long as he does a good job here, welcome back Leonardo.

:fp:

it was a personal betrayal of galliani. he had a psychotic break..divorced his wife, spiraled into depression..galliani led him by the hand, signed him when he was an ex-player...gave him a job running milan charity foundation...gave him a job as a scout...gave him a job as a manager...................he saved his life, gave him his career

after all that..you can't blame him for joining inter?

Well that's pretty ungrateful of him if all that's true, though I doubt it's as bad as you make it out to be.
And obviously I didn't know all that

8 years ago and we have guys here since 13 years ago that never knew about it

I hope he calls galliani for advice from time to time, if they can make time :)

It was pretty well chronicled in this thread around the time of his departure. Galliani was a real father figure to him during those times. It was a proper betrayal.

But, forgiveness is equally easy, at least for me.

I think he's technical director. He mentioned something about getting a sporting director in the presser.

.could have sworn he said “I’m in the sporting side”

AC Milan announces the appointment of Leonardo as Sporting Director

Leonardo will be in charge of managing the Club’s sporting area, including the transfer market, and – starting from this transfer window – he will have all the financial support he needs to strengthen and rationalise the team within UEFA’s Financial Fair Play framework”.

Leonardo: "A new SD? A helping hand is needed, there are many things to do, but I think the choice of the new SD is important, I would do these things calmly."
