I mean, do you think it's likely going to be a good fight? Or has real entertainment value in the ring?
My first reaction is no, it's not a "fair" fight sporting wise. May is (was) on another level compared to other top boxers, let alone vs an MMA-fighter. Also, May is a defensive fighter, so I can't see how Mcgregor would use one of his biggest strengths, which are the counter attacks.
But then again, you never know... Maybe Conor will show a side we haven't seen before. He's superior in boxing vs other MMA-fighters. Even vs Diaz, who's a great boxer you could see that Mcgregor is much better when he had the gas.
Anyway, this will be a fun watch for me, something new. Why the fuck not is all I'm saying. But I'm not interested in MMA vs Boxing to become a common thing in the future. I love MMA too much.
