He did much better than I expected and he gave the team a boost.

A lot of people are haters of Boateng. It's a fact.

He did well. Had less of an impact towards the end but Roma were regaining control and we were just blasting it up the field.

Started strong for 10-15 min, then started fading. If he plays like this, I expect him to play much more. Against a team that has 3 central midfielders, we get abused a lot in the center of the pitch. Having Boateng, makes the formation more of a 4-4-1-1 without pissing Berlusconi off too much and providing more cover for our central midfielders.

Let's be clear on something though, he's no striker.

A hater can turn from good performances. One sub apperance doesn't change the fact this was an unnecessary signing.

BUT

I am happy KPB WORKS for his time and not just given it bc he is an ex-player coming home.

KPB been an impact sub right now is OK. If he deserves more in the future, time will tell.
