Sure.. they were just angling for a larger offer. So was Aubameyang as he repeatedly hinted, pretty much saying the ball was in Milan's court.

We made a choice to not sign a top striker. It was a wrong choice.

Thats not correct. Dortmund set an ultimatum and Aubameyang was on the market until mid of July and then the timeframe was over and they refused to negotiate. They were not interested in more money, as it became clear that time, that they r prob going to lose Dembele for insane money so no need to make compromises.

Milan tried to lowball them and in the end they had to suffer the consequences..no Auba for sale anymore.

I didn't see the game only the highlights but it looked like the difference was the quality of the strikers.

Higuain is a world class finisher and Kalanic is no where near his quality. Romagnoli should have done much better stopping Higuaín getting his shot away for the first.

Disappointing but Juventus are miles better than us at the moment.

The difference was we let our opponents striker have the ball, unmarked, in a position he'd score 8 out of 10 times. Yesterday he scored twice. You dont fucking let that happen then appriciate them.

Chiellini had Kalinic in his pocket, Suso was double teamed, all of the threat we had were neutralized. Thats why we lost, not because of Kalinic, not because of Higuain.

you pretty much got the picture right.
in the most part of game it was an equal match.
the difference were the 2 times higuain get the ball in a position where he shouldn't be left alone and punished us for that.
it was crucial to equalize in that big chance at the end of first half when kalinic hit the post. what can you do? derbies are decided in this kind of details.
