ego death is not some spiritual whateverthefuck, it's a thing your mind can experience under the influence of psychedelics. dude was conscious, but talked about the randomest shit and he didn't know who he was and thought the memories he had of his life were not his or were fake, don't remember how he described it. nothing spiritual about it.
after the fact he described it as the passing of time feeling weird. when he had seconds of clarity he acted as if he'd been tripping for days and every time he had these moments he thought it was over and that he'd woken up from the trip but he'd then fall back in.

that's what fucked him up for the following couple of weeks, coincidences made him relieve that feeling of slipping from away from clarity

there is a special feeling about this signing just because we have not signed a player in demand by other money clubs in a long time.

his quality, how will he fit, develop...only time will tell. but the feeling that we can now rival with other sharks on these kind of signing ... and, i reckon, if any other team had signed him, they would have paid more.

now 1 thing we need to do immediately is to train him specifically to the position we want him to play (midfielder apparently) ... watching the videos, he seems like one those in-between positions players ... playing Mid but with characteristics of a more advanced player ... a bit like Bonaventura himself.

decrease some of the stepovers, increase some of those lane splitting pass to the forwards.

when i hear ego "death" though, I take it as the classical case of selflessness and freedom of the spirit, not some drug induced depersonalisation, but I got you now. Wouldn't wish such ego death to anyone
