Mourinho: If he go away, he would have a better chance to play in these months and in World Cup. If he stays, he will play at Sunday against Stoke but if there will be an opportunity for him to go away and be more happy, then we will have to show respect for his choice.

It seems its all done.. according to Gazzetta.it.. he will be great addition for the Champions League.. he has experience.. but I have seen Chelsea this season .. he didnt impress me at all.. and he rarely played from the 1st minute.. I am 50-50 for this transfer..

Essien replacing Nocerino. Difficult to hate that. Rather neither (injury) on the pitch than Nocerino (awful).

He will join on free transfer. I just hope he's wage aint too high otherwise he is a fine player to have. Who will he challenge? We already got Muntari, Cristante, Monto, DJ, Poli and Sapanara on the midfield. I guess our tac is 4-2-3-1 so.. I don't get it.

Montolivo-De Jong (Cristante-Essien). If Poli can somehow find his feet on the wing, we'll have a pretty good squad in the midfield and attack.

The fact that Essien is willing to go down by half his wage to get his boots on the grass should say something. Essien is full of energy which is crucial in the current style of play that Seedorf seems to be implementing. Hopefully can help the defence with some of those fast contra's.

Essien is not cup-tied because he wasn't even registered for Chelsea this season.

I think he will wear #15 (his Real Madrid number) because if he takes #5 he will have to wear a different number in the CL.
