Anyone follow this Neres guy much? Is he legit or just another Ajax hype?

David Neres -- Ajax

Signed from Sao Paulo for €12 million in January 2017, Neres has quickly established himself in the first team at Ajax. He scored his first goal for the club in a 2-1 win over Feyenoord in April, and has been in blistering form this season as the Amsterdam side look to rein in PSV Eindhoven at the top of the Eredivisie.

Playing style

A speedy, skillful forward, Neres favours his left foot and looks to cut inside from the right flank or race to the byline and drag low balls across the box. When dribbling in-field he draws defenders in with his close control, creating space behind that he can then exploit with threaded passes to the forwards.

The 20-year-old has a penchant for a trick or two, shifting his body weight to slalom between defenders, and displays good off-the-ball movement to look for return passes or find goal-scoring positions around the box.

It has been a bright start at Ajax, but you sense there is plenty more to come from Neres as he continues his development.

Neres is good and had potential to become great but he would drown in current Milan

Deulofeu- loan with option to start on the LW
Jankto sign for 18-20m

And we’re good

Il secondo potrebbe essere paletta (Sassuolo)

First departure of January: Gustavo Gomez (to Boca). Suitcases ready.

The second one could be Paletta (Sassuolo)

As long as we get a winger and midfielder this month. Then maybe our luck may change in the 2nd half of the season.

David Neres looks impressive, like a big game presence type of player but not sure if he plays LW as we already have Suso for RW.

Deulofeu would be welcome, we are in dire need of some pace upfront.

So glad Galliani isn't in charge anymore, it would have been a summer of hell with Criscito, Santon, Moutinho, Cabaye, Hetemaj etc. having expiring contracts.

Deulofeu would be a dream now, to cover LW and offer some rotation to Suso on RW too.

Deulofeu is never a dream.

Why would we look for stop-gaps for such an important position in a dead season? To avoid relegation?(we won't regardless of that) Qualify for EL again?(is that so important?)

Enough time has been wasted on players that are not or most likely won't be a long-term solution.

Also, both Deu and Suso prefer the right flank and their partnership was shit,
although Suso was like the only teammate Deu would pass to.

6 months loan is fine, some reinforcements are not bad but i agree it doesnt really matter rn.

Dont buy anyone until we have a really good coach. F&M should let him have more power. They can give him advice, show some good players they scout but shouldnt decide by themself. A new coach must be fully in charge next mercato.

In term of quality i think those players they bought are decent but it has 0 coordination with the coachs system thats the main problem.
We just brought in random players without a strategy, its like they are playing FM just take those guys with high rating and put on your team.

Attention to the situation André Silva, that Europa League aside, in the Rossoneri it seemed a fish out of water. With Montella he did not play, with Gattuso the scenario is the same. The Portuguese striker is not officially on the market, but if Mendes will bring an offer close to 40 million, more or less the figure, including bonus invested six months ago to snatch him from Porto, his farewell will be taken into consideration. And from its sale could start the hunt for a new number 9.

Selling Silva will be a huge mistake. Kid needs continuity and we keep dropping him even if he does well. We need to give him game time and serious game time before we sell.

I guess Aubameyang, Darmian and Sokratis showed how good they were going to be before we showed them the door also?

give a coach full power and he ll buy virgin van dijk for 85m
technical director should have scouting/transfers policy.ofc he should cooperate with the coach as it happened with montella this summer or what is happening with paratici-marotta and juve.

only problem is we should have better technical director than mirabelli and better coach than montella.

consider following baseball or some other sport.it would make you feel better

Muscles . Great player dembele. Amazing technique, strong on the ball and has phenomenal football iq. More importantly he can make average players play better because he is always trying to drive the team forward single handedly which eases the pressure on the supporting players. He rarely ever loses the ball.
Nice try, Dembele's agent.

Who said he is stop gap?
He is a million times better than Borini.
And Borini is pretty much our starting LW.

Barcelona don't need him and he already proved he can do well here.

If the price is good, I would sign him with 0 doubts.
