For All those who didn't know :)

Name: Samuele Dalla Bona
Born: San Dona di Piave, Italy
Nationality: Italy
Position: Midfield Center
DOB: 6/2/1981
Current Club: Milan

Career History:
2006 Milan (Returned From Loan)
2004 Lecce Loan
2003 Bologna Loan
2002 Milan £1 Million Fee (full ownership)
1998 Chelsea
1997 Atalanta Youth

Samuele "Sam" Dalla Bona (born February 6, 1981 in San Donà Di Piave) is an Italian footballer who currently plays for A.C. Milan having returned from a loan spell at Sampdoria.

Dalla Bona was signed as a highly promising 17 year-old by Chelsea from Atalanta's youth side in October 1998. He won the club golden boot in 1998/99.He made his debut for the club against Feyenoord in the Champions League a year later. With the departure of older midfielders Dennis Wise and Gustavo Poyet in 2001 and some impressive performances, Dalla Bona got an extended run in the side, making 32 appearances in that season and scoring 2 goals. The following season, he refused to sign a contract extension and was placed on the transfer list. He moved to A.C. Milan for around £1million in July 2002 , having played 73 games for Chelsea and scored 6 goals.

Facing competition from a star-studded AC Milan midfield containing the likes of Gennaro Gattuso, Clarence Seedorf and Andrea Pirlo, Dalla Bona's opportunities at the club were limited and he spent a year on loan at Bologna. The following season he moved to Lecce having made just a handful of appearances for Milan and in 2005 moved to Sampdoria for a season.

SAM DALLA BONA: 'Pleased to be back here'
7/21/2006
MILANELLO - Samuele Dalla Bona talked about his return to Milanello: 'I am pleased to be back here, we'll see what happens. I know the environment, I know everyone, I am pleased. I want to train and then see what happens in the upcoming days. It's strange not to see Shevchenko, he did so much for Milan, but I am sure we'll overcome his absence.'

I think he will have limited opportunities and will rot on the bench. Either that or be sold.

Italian Tsar...

Don't concern yourself with my life, I'm having fun right here + now (not into shopping, dear) ~ except I don't hide behind an alias. LOL.

You should sticky the newly created Official Dalla Bona + Brocchi threads.

Don't get overwhelmed, one step at a time.

That's exactly what i wanted to do, but merging the two threads would mean:
Posts would be listed chronologically, which would only serve to disrupt the discussion going on :)

AEK To Land Sam Dalla Bona

told ya he'll leave without gettin his chance...

The Athens club will probably find SPL outfit Hearts in their way as they attempt to reach the group stage of the Champions League. AEK will meet the winners of the Hearts-Siroki Brijeg second qualifying round tie, which the Scottish side lead 3-0 from the first leg.

But to make an impact in Europe’s top-flight club tournament, AEK have to strengthen their squad with the addition of an experienced player.

The 25-year-old AC Milan player, who is not considered part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for next season, was regarded as one of the biggest Italian talents, but as he failed to find first-team football opportunities he was forced to spend years on loan at Bologna, Lecce and Sampdoria.

Now he is ready to sign a 3-year long deal with the Super League club.

Sam Dalla Bona started his career at Chelsea when he was signed as a highly promising 17 year-old by the London outfit from Atalanta's youth side in October 1998. He won promptly the club's golden boot in 1998/99, scoring 18 goals in six months, and made his debut in the Champions League a year later against Feyenoord.

When Chelsea midfielders Dennis Wise and Gustavo Poyet left the club in 2001, Dalla Bona - after some impressive performances - got an extended run in the side, making 32 appearances in that season and scoring 2 goals. The following season, however, he refused to sign a contract extension and was placed on the transfer list.

He moved to Milan but competition with Gennaro Gattuso, Clarence Seedorf and Andrea Pirlo prevented him from getting the opportunities he needed to prove himself and as a result his career started to wane almost at its beginning. AEK could be a new starting point.

He wouldn't have played anyway so its a good move for him. This will mean that if a player like Pirlo or Gattuso needs rest then the likes of Brocchi and Vogel will feature more promenently which could be good for the team.
