I understand why he played LCD when he was in germany.
We can train him to a back up for Roma or gtfo.

I don't know why he doesn't cross or get more involved offensively.

He's a dead-ball specialist, can hit a great shot or cross - at least he's supposed to be able to.

I think our shit form hit his confidence and he hasn't recovered. I want howitzers playing at FB. Why have a rocket for a foot if you're too scared to ever aim it at the goal?

He seems pretty smart, but he lacks something to be really good. Hope he finds it

lack of pace ofc

That one's obvious and he won't get it. I am talking about something he could still develop/find within himself.

Pace isn't the only thing a FB needs and you can be a good one without it. You guys play too much FIFA

He looks and plays as he's physically and/or mentally wounded.

Still recovering from his mom's death or was he always like this?

He was top notch during that world cup. But again, defences are shit during any international tournament.

zambro's goal at 1:37

Damn, that was so long ago

p.s. did Seedorf do that one-two with their defender on purpose?

Replacing him should be one of the top priorities this summer. Sell for 12m, add 14-15m more and get a decent LB with potential for more.

RR is not going anywhere. We wouldn't have signed strinic otherwise. Wish we would have gotten kolasinac instead..

yea right, we need MF, winger, CF, back up MF, winger and probably another one player but yeah, replacing rr is the biggest priority

he's fine, it's his first season and he was ok, no need to replace him.

I wanted to give hi another season... but the problem is he has little to no speed which is the most important factor for those who play on the wings whether it be defence or attack.

I think if he was just more happy to unleash when on the attack then it'd be much better.

For someone with such good attacking qualities (shooting and crossing), he seems incredibly averse to actually using it.

He'll always be slow but he's consistent and solid.

he is getting involved more in build up play. passing is not bad. have yet to see any attacking ability from him. started the season poorly but is slowly(very slowly) building chemistry with rest of the team.

It's not only his speed that worries me. He looks so dependent on his left foot, that it's painful to watch. Due to these things, he's much less dangerous than our right backs. Add to this the occasional defensive brainfart...

With Cutrone instead of Kalinic as CF, I see Rodriguez as our weakest link and I don't see enough potential for improvement, in order for us to keep him more than 1 season as starter.

I was never too upset with this guy. I think people don't like him because he came here with a big reputation and he proved to be not that player, and that's understandable.

I think next season, RR will be a good compliment to what conti brings on the opposite side(or an in form Calabria). They are the more "traditional" attacking fullbacks, the guys running around their wingers and bombing forward at will. Conti takes that a step further and actually likes to move into the box and have a go at goal, something I really hope he can do again after his injury.

RR doesn't have that type of athleticism to do that. He's much more ball oriented, he's pretty good at getting the ball out of pressure. Often times Calabria plays the ball to Kessie or Suso in pressure or just goes long, which is actually fine for a fullback. But RR tends to link up a bit better with the center backs and midfield. The one thing i really don't like is when he overdoes that and loses the ball, but even bonucci does that at times. I do agree he should show off that left foot more, he's shown just enough flashes for me to know he does have that ability. But it's his first season in serie a playing for a team that had an up down season under two managers. His confidence should be higher next season. If anything I don't think RR is a problem on this team, there are other areas we should improve before him

The agent of Ricardo Rodriguez insists he wants to stay with AC Milan.

The former VfL Wolfsburg fullback has been linked with a return to the Bundesliga this summer.

However, Gianluca Di Domenico insists his client is happy where he is.

"The future of Rodriguez? I hope that Milan will manage to put everything in order and return to Europe," he told Radio Crc.

"The Court of Arbitration for Sport has sometimes corrected decisions but I see that as difficult. Removing Milan from Europe is crazy and I hope they realise it."

Told you before that he's our weakest link. I'd much rather play Strinic.

Can someone remind me what was his strength before we signed him?

He seems to be average or shit at everything.

For this you'd have to call Massimo back and ask him... I'm sure none of us wants to see him back. Let it go, man... mark it as one of those mysteries of life

Defensively solid, excellent crosser+passer, good at taking set-pieces.

i think he will come good this season. last season, he was shit during first half but found some consistency(nothing spectacular). hopefully strinic can somehow light fire up his ass. he holds the ball well under pressure but plays with his head down. its funny the way he runsm, looks as if he is about to take the nose dive.
