I was just trolling about the overrated bit lol...but I think it's a bad game personally
FF7 is a tedious game...I tried it but dropped it after leaving Midgar because of how slow it was
It also pissed me off so many times...I was almost ready to throw my controller at the TV screen when I made the decision to enter Shinra HQ by the back-door(which I thought was the right choice) and then the game punished me for that by making me climb stairs for half an hour...WTF? I was so angry
I got so little enjoyment out of it and I don't get how so many people enjoy it

So in conclusion I've always thought it was unenjoyable,boring,bad game
If I said this about any other game nobody would bat an eye
But when I say it about FF7 the fanboys are ready to eat me alive
I don't give a shit tbh

are you more of the western RPG/Online MMORPG type of guy?

I played 1 and 2.

Most frustrating shooting mechanics of any game ever, wave after wave of pointless enemies spawning for no reason whatsoever, bland characters, no variety in gameplay,...
So much wrong with these games that the story can't be enjoyed through all the shit that plagues them. I play a lot of games and have owned all the Playstations from the first one on, love most of the ps exclusive games out there, but the Uncharted series is frankly the most overrated piece of garbage ever. Imho.

They're mediocre 3rd person shooters with high production values...nothing else
Their whole gameplay is based on set-piece after set-piece,the story is a ripoff of Indiana Jones if you ripped all the charm out of an Indiana Jones Movie

The Gamespot review was based on the console version

But yeah it sucks that so many devs are releasing broken games nowadays

Uncharted was superb in its story telling and voice acting

The character development was awesome

It's the closest interactive action movie I've experienced

It's not about the shooting mechanics imo.

But, it's all taste.

It is when it's so fucking bad that it prevents you from enjoying the game.
50 enemies spawning out of nowhere, each of them soaking up bullets like they're the incredible Hulk and after you finally deal with them, you take 3 steps and another 100 of them show up for no other reason than to frustrate the player. Horrible, horrible games. I can't believe they're so highly rated. If you want a movie like experience then play The Last of Us (made by the same company as Uncharted btw, but actually good), Beyond: Two Souls, Heavy Rain, Metal Gear series, etc. Not this garbage.

no, it isn't. It's all relative

Goldeneye was gods gift to shooters back in the day... Now we know better

The experience is all subjective.

And beyond two souls was a movie game with poor interaction for my taste. It was almost 100% movie. Heavy rain was excellent... Agreed

It's all taste though. Mechanics/graphics those things change and evolve through time

But could it actually be a part of the actual universe, since we don't know most of the actual universe? :monto:

Might actually have the Solar System in the game somewhere. Check around 14:45 in this vid when he starts zooming out the universe, all of those dots are apparently explorable.

I just checked it out, it definitely has solar systems but not the real ones- all fictional. Looks interesting nonetheless, but how cool would it have been to travel to Mars, the moon, Saturn, and going farther to see andromeda, orion nebula, black holes. Since we obv don't know the whole/most of the universe, they could have incorporated the 1% we know into the game, but I don't think they did.
