Great with both feet, great technique, he is not selfish at all, great passer... great kid!!
He is No 7 in all videos except in that against Merda when he scored great goal from free kick.

7 goals and 8 assists in just 7 appearance
Before come to the Primavera he had 16 goals in youngest competition

He is a promising player and need to loan to a team that can improve his talent & skills; I hope D&G find a real team to let him get experience.

yes, well he's improvement is pretty much fast as last season he was still at allievi nazionali, he is one of those who skipped our Beretti side and went straight to primavera, and now in primavera he already looked damn good. So i do hope he can fulfill his potential, he's only 17 and I don't want to judge at his first appearance last night as Leo said that he is actually not that fit to play

True, he is not fit but he is in need to gain more experience, so if he continue for couple years with Primavera and then loan to a club who graduate stars like Ajax, AZ, FC Twente, Marseille, Toulouse, Auxer, or Saint-Etienne.

I hate loaning players out... We should develop them ourselves! When was the last time something good turned out by us loaning a player to a smaller side? Ambro played a season with vicenza if my memory serves me right, but that's about it. We loaned gourcuff and look what happened to him.

I mentioned clubs that it specialist to graduate player, if you read my previous post I clearly said a Good Club!

It's pretty difficult loaning players to clubs abroad, not to mention loaning a guy like verdi to those clubs (that you mentioned above) who simply like to breed their home ground players too.. but yes he needs playing time in a higher level to improve
I mean there is always a worried when someone is already to good for primavera, should he stay or try to get more playing time on a higher level. If he stays, he will surely plays but will he improve more? maybe not.. if he goes on loan, will he play or not will be the problem, if he plays enough he will surely improve..
I just hope we can manage our talent well and wise this time, doesn't want what happened to Gourcuff struck again

Disagree with you, when a player face a challenge he will do the best to win and prove himself and gain the trust & respect of coach and the team.

French & Holland system have no mercy in training and seriousness more than any other system.

i would keep him until he is about 19/20 and give him a sub appearances if he's really good, then loan him out to a team in Serie B which are looking to get promoted, ie reggina or lecce.

but if he looks really promising. then in no way can we co-own him or with a clause to buy. look what happened to palschi and gourcuff, with no clause to buy or no co-own, if we didn't do that. then we would have gourcuff now and paloschi with no possibility of staying at parma.

which is in my point suggest the things opposite from your statement???
I simply said that if a young player gets on loan and doesn't play his improvement will be not as much as those who get playing time!!!
I know the youth development in Holland, and as far as I know they barely loan young players outside their own youth system, that's what I'm trying to say. Ajax have a high standard in scouting youth to even get the chance to play with them, but it's from their own scouting because they want to own them and the players to play for them. Surely in the future they can sold them too.. they barely loan youth players from others club, Verdi would probably get loan out in Italy..

I've never been a fan of shipping off a young kid. You need to nurture his talent. Keep him in the Primavera then give him a taste of Serie A so he is aware of the intensity compared to youth competitions. Then drop him back to the Primavera and let his body and skills develop whilst throughout the year/s slowing integrating him into the first team. Then perhaps a loan to another side domestically would be ideal for experience.

That's what I like best too, I mean if the kid can handle pressure and play well in 1-2 games in serie A or maybe copa, he may not be need to be loan out to other team domestically. We can just keep him and give me playing time bit by bit, just being careful on helping his improvement and growth

EXCLUSIVE MN - Aug. Verdi: "Simon is growing thanks to Stroppa and Leonardo"

Interview of Antonio Vitiello

Greater knowledge of the youth of Milan, Donato Orgnoni Prosecutor Simone Young Verdi, who made his debut in the Cup against Italy Novara, was contacted by MilanNews.it to comment on the onset of the attacker's Spring:

Simon Verdi made his debut in the Italian Cup with the first team, a positive comment on the moment they are experiencing.

"I can not but be pleased with the growth that Simon has had during the year. Is fortunate to train every day with Mr. Stroppa, who immediately believed in him, and companions of Spring really good. If we add to this that often trains with the first team, I think there is every reason to do well and continue to improve. "

How does the few minutes that he played?

"The beginning is always particular. I liked the serenity and tranquility which has taken the field.

You think that in September, the Greens could be already stably integrated into the first team?
"Do not rush into. Both Mr. Stroppa that Mr. Leonardo are managing in the best possible way. Simon must think only to give his best with his comrades of Spring ".

What do you think of the youth project of Milan?

"The Company is working very well. The new organizational approach on the field of youth is starting to show results and are convinced that we will see other kids look out the first team. "

The management of Leonardo's youth?

"When you see two young men like DeVito and Verdi and other boys to begin Spring training often with the first team, I think we should not add anything to the excellent work of Leonardo."

honestly I would really want to see more of Verdi playing, he definitely looked talented. Not just because he can run pass few players, but the way he control the ball and everything. with a proper development, he could be something for the future

+1

It looks really promising what he shows, he can be really great in the future. It would be nice to see him in the first team some time soon, we can really need him then if he is as great as I think he could be. I mean sooner or later Pippo will retire, that is for sure, he's a bit old now and can't play forever, so it def. would be good to have Verdi as his replacement maybe.

I don't think he was impressive last night. But still, he deserves more of a chance than Di G, based on his Coppa performances.

yeah, but he has the talent, I played football a lot from kids to college, I mean you can see a talent by seeing how he handles the ball. It's difficult for a 17 years old to be impressive when he plays as a sub an the team didn't even click at all :head:.. but yes he should get more chance than Di G, at least Verdi is able to play in the 4-3-3 system
