I don't see what more Rino could've done, besides perhaps inserting Llorente to give Bruno Alves a match for the gazillion crosses Napoli sent in.
But he only had 2 subs after the Koulibaly injury and I can see why he would choose Mertens and Lozano.
The main problem with the team is that they look so tired and lethargic compared to a few years ago.
Like Tottenham, except the problem is even more severe at Napoli.
I used to be impressed by the intensity and urgency of their game, but all that is gone after one and a half year with Carlo "you need to rest" Ancelotti.
Mertens seems to be lower on energy than Suso and lower on motivation than Balp. Callejon is also declining hard, but at least he looks like trying.
Zielinski has incredibly low lows.
They still don't have an anchor or holding mid. Allan is not it.
It's going to be very difficult to create a solid defence with those defenders.
Also
Dejan Kulusevski's distance covered: 14.393km
Highest I've ever seen in 90 mins.
That can't be healthy.
Reading up on the matter, the record seems to be Michael Bradley vs Belgium in the 2014 World Cup - 16.6 km.

In comparison, Kessie is usually around the 12 km-mark.
Not this season.
Him and Hakan are down to around 11km.
I don't know what Giampaolo did during the preseason, but it deserves a prison sentence.

Ah, can't say I'm overly surprised. Gattuso's style of play is more focused on determination, grit and running. GP, on the other hand, tried to implement a possession based system with less baseless running and more movement around the ball carrier.
What an incredible goal by CR7

Ramos is a pretty solid header as well. 100 career goals as a central defender speaks for itself.
Everyone else: you gotta jump right before the ball reaches you, to head it.
Ronaldo: I'l just float in the air, and wait for the ball to come to me.
Indeed, the guy is simply incredible as a CB. He sometimes gets passed over, because he had the red card streak early in his career, but the guy is an all time great CB.
Probably top 3 in the modern game (E.G post Maldini, Nesta's of the world)
Refreshing to see there's at least one club on par with us.. Napoli down 1-0.
