Godin is a freebee at the end of his contract, probably not January but I'd love it if we could get him in January already if we pay Athletico a little.

The bigger issue is convincing him to come here. The guy is 32, and if he is still ambitious, he may want to win a CL before his career ends, and Milan don't really offer that chance atm or in the near future (±3 years).

Milan could reportedly send Gonzalo Higuain back to Juventus next summer on economic grounds.

According to Corriere dello Sport, ‘the odds are higher’ that Higuain will leave Milan at the end of the season.

The Rossoneri paid Juve €18m to sign Pipita on loan over the summer and agreed a €36m option to buy.

Signing Godin will be amazing, he is just what we need so our def. can reach next level.

I really think Leonardo and Maldini will do great this winter mercato.
