"I can see the spirit and determination in the players. We just need that spark which will arrive soon." - Midtablotella

Milan will move forward with Montella. [Sky]

Why are we not in ritiro.. With this level of crisis, we should really uphold the tradition of ritiro.

I think we're more in crisis than we have been since when Allegri got fired, tbh.

I think this scenario was foreseen by management, and anyone else who doesn't think a newly assembled team could play good football after 3 months. They need to learn to play together which takes time.

What's worrying is that our competitors for CL are showing good form. But the season is long and many things can happen.

We can leapfrog them in the table with a win here

Sad day when Milan are chasing Chievo, but that's Montella. Midtabletella is so true.

Week 10 and we're 12 pts under already. Wow. We're leading the bottom half of the table!

Sure. You can see it all in Mirabelli's face after the AEK draw below. He just stood staring. I feel for the man, I do. I can also send you a pic of his face for Genoa.

TOTALLY expected, sure.

we are in this awkward phase in which losing and winning are both good outcomes of an upcoming game.

I wouldn't call it a crisis, yet.

Of course we are in a crisis. Our playing style has regressed steadily since the Roma match. They look less like a team than in week 1 now. Forget the results, the group seems unsure of what to do.

I'm not saying things are looking good, but don't agree that deviating from a straight line necessarily means crisis.

It's worth saying that Juve were midtable after what? 8 weeks into the season last year?
And then still won the Scudetto easily.

Juventus have a very good manager though and clear pedigree.

Since 2014 we've never had an impressive 2nd half of the season.

Allegri is fodder but their team indeed is much better.
It helps that we are not aiming for the Scudetto, just the top 4.

I'm losing faith for this reason. Felt some optimism after Roma and Inter, but last two games I just didn't see a team. Everyone was playing on their own, trying to force something to happen.
