Milan's veteran midfielder Rino Gattuso believes his side deserves to win the Scudetto this season.


The Rossoneri have led Serie A since November and have a three-point advantage on Napoli.

Asked to reveal how he thinks the campaign will end, Gattuso said: “I hope with us winning it.

“We have been top for 22 or 23 games. We have beaten both Napoli and Inter twice who are second and third… I think that we deserve this Scudetto.

“Six games are left. We hope they go well.”

Asked about his future amid reports of an offer from Russia, Gattuso said: “I can play on at these levels for a maximum of two years, then I want to coach the kids.”

Actually I think he'd make a great coach, especially for the kids when there isn't a great emphasis on tactics as much as learning the basics and developing good work ethic and team spirit. Contrary to what he shows on the pitch, Gattuso's a very funny guy and he'd be like a father to those kids. Would give them a kick up the backside when they need one as well. :D

I don't want this guy gone to Russia or any other club. He should stay here and retire, but I DO respect the reason why he wanted to leave last year...I still want him here though. He's damn amazing. I've never seen such a better DM.
