In that picture Roma looks like he has bulked up a little bit. Could that be?

I remember him 1 season ago with short hairs and tall but skinny

It's been obvious since the summer for me (that he has become more muscular) but for some reason it seems people are only noticing recently (& some are still describing him as scraggy)!

don't think he was best. made some mistakes which could have been punished and for the goal he has to take his share of blame as he and paletta both failed to close down nainngolan. donna also could have done more in terms of positioning.

He was the one with that awful cleareance just before they headed the hall toward naingolan for the goal.. hes our most gifted defender i expect him to start plays from the back not give possession away ..

Average match for his standards

kid needs to time to grow still.

Did you guys not notice the amount of boos he got?
He played well imo. The whole back line was solid yesterday.

disagree.. romagnoli surprisingly was our worst defender... paletta's long passes all returned to the opponents, i understand why Montella wants a good ball-playing CB instead. de sciglio and abate offered nothing extra as usual.. just a regular OK performance which people tend to rate as a good performance. donnarumma also needs a lot of work with the ball at his feet.

Agree...love Alessio but yesterday he was tentative, and misplaced key passes.

I especially agree with that. They didn't do anything terribly wrong (which is good on one side) but they didn't offer anything special to help us get the point(s) neither (which is bad on the other side). An "OK" performance is quite that what is left.

Abate actually covered a lot of ground and was good defensively. He didn't really take a step wrong, also offensively he didn't really create much but was always available as an outlet all game.

What's the point of these stats if you fuckup when you're needed and the team loses because of that?

Best young CB in the world, and that by far. Fuck. Hopefully he has the motivation to keep growing and becoming even better

Even if Juve has Caldara-Rugani, the future of Italy is Romagnoli. One of the other two may be his partner but he'll be the future ⭐⭐⭐

Theres no doubting Romagnoli, but it would have been an exciting partnership with Caldara.
