The Diavolo are looking to refinance a loan from Elliott Management which was used to enable the new Chinese owners to take control of the club.
If the American hedge fund isn’t paid back by October, they can take control of the club.
“The deadline we have is October 2018. We think we can do it by the spring, and that’s what we’re working toward.”

w-what did they mean by this

new owners by october 2018

Who cares about a voluntary agreement with UEFA, we probably won't even be in Europe next season. They should worry about it when they get there. They'll probably end up selling Donnarumma for sure and maybe one more other young player I would guess.

Emery is leaving PSG in the summer according to L'Equipe and they are already lining up their next manager. I'm guessing it will be Simeone, Conte or Pochettino. Would you guys go for Emery if Conte or Sarri are unattainable?

And then there are people wo think that we are broke because we can't meet such ridicolous requests :proud:

Seriously, if this report is real, then Fassone is right when he says that UEFA is having demands who are impossible to meet not only for Milan but for every club in Europe and therefore it's questonable what the purpose of the Voluntary Agreement is to begin with...

UEFA: ‘No decision taken on Milan'
By Football Italia staff

UEFA has released a statement confirming they haven't taken “a definitive position” on Milan’s Financial Fair Play voluntary agreement.

It has been widely reported that the FFP committee will reject the proposal put forward by Rossoneri CEO Marco Fassone, raising the possibility of sanctions.

However, the meeting will not be held until tomorrow, so officially there has been no decision as yet.

“The rumours which are being reported are groundless,” a statement released to ANSA said.

“The committee will meet on Friday and the decision is scheduled for next week. The commission, which is an independent body, has not yet taken a definitive position on the dossier presented by the club.”

While no decision has been taken, Fassone has already complained some requests are "impossible to satisfy".

if we get transfer banned, it will be for next mercato anyway. Which would force us to invest in January since we would be fucked for the following year

which means a cheaper club to buy by next owners
imagine an investor buying a club with 7 CL 18 leagues and a massive fan base around the world for around 250-300M€
he might get the prize of the best businessman of the decade

Of opportunistic investors are looking at Milan they may well indeed be in a super strong negotiating position as some have already mentioned. Especially if Uefa reject the voluntary agreement and The current ownership struggles to refinance

Looks like Yonghong Li picked a real winner with Fassone as CEO to lead his club haha. Screwed up at Inter and he probably will here as well.

How is any of this Fassone's fault?

Picked the sporting director, I'm sure he had a say in keeping Montella and help spend 200m poorly. I would guess they may not have needed to go to UEFA either with a voluntary agreement until later down the road. Now you make the club look foolish. Who knows how that hurts potential sponsorship and investors.

We could theoretically use a sack of coins as our static central defender.

But unfortunately, bitcoin is virtual, and it wouldn't block defenders the same way a real sack of coins would.

50%
when you have 250M€ to spend in one mercato and you end up having the same points as Bologna by december, then you probably suck at your work
he made 3 fatal mistakes in the mercato (under supervision of the 2 other suckers mirabelli and montella)
he bought silva first, and as you can guess it's a very stupid mistake, the original plan as mirabelli mentioned is to get silva as 2nd striker (talent) then another wc striker (auba), then the bonucci affair came
and here ofc as we know montella pushed for it, but why on the hell would you want another defender (even if he is WC) and you don't even have a good CF, it's like buying a vacation house while you don't even have a car to go to work
and how he corrected that? by buying another useless mediocre CF, kalinic!!
Then the other mistake is hakan, as we know the original plan before bonucci was 4-3-3, and dumb montella wanted to play bona as left wing and hakan as left mid, so he can rotate between them, and none of them is actually a LW, but god knows what was he trying to achieve

other than that: musacchio, kessie, RR, Conti, Biglia
all of them were good in their teams and can't blame F&M or montella for them, even if 1 or 2 flopped it was hard to predict

but imagine if we had a good LW and auba, even if the team performed bad like they did, we would win matches like torino samp, inter, benvento, genoa where we did everything but lacked the striker who can put the ball in the nets, and we would be competing for 4th spot with lazio

lets say btc was $2500 in july...42 million euros is worth roughly 49 million dollars

so 49 million dollars would buy you 19600 btc back in july

and today 19,600 btc would be worth.... $345,508,996 ??

how much is elliot loan?

According to reports from SkySport, Milan today has had new contacts with the Highbridge fund to understand if there were any slowdowns or changes after the news spread today in the newspapers about Uefa Voluntary Agreement, but there is great willingness to move forward. Also according to Sky, Uefa has requested further documentation from Milan on the refinancing negotiation and will then decide next week whether or not to refuse the voluntary agreement.

So give us further documentation, then we'll deny you haha.

I get your point but I still think Bonucci is/was a necessary purchase to give the team credibility and character.

Our true fuck up purchases were RR, Hakan, Kalinic, and Biglia. If you ditched all of those and got Auba for the same cost, you would have brought Auba, Silva, Bonucci, Conti, Kessie and Musa.

Also we shouldn't have sold Kucka or Bacca. And we should've kept Deuolofeu.

This is very close. Our market shud've been: Bonucci, Sokratis, Conti, Kessie, Silva, Cesc, Arthur Melo

Had no choice in Deulofeu's matter Barca recalled him but we shud defo have kept Bacca for another year so he can help with Silva's transition... then replace him with a superstar striker. This year was always going to be abt Defence and Midfield, Cesc was the key, shud've thrown the bank at getting him. Our scouting was piss poor too, look at this Arthur guy, he's going to Barca now.
