Montella had to mould all those signings together... He needed time.

Very few managers have got so many signings to gel instantly and hit the ground running.

The only one that comes to mind is Capello at Real in 96/97 (Carlos, Suker, Mijatovic, Seedorf, Karembeu, Panucci)

Montella only had 2 and a half months.

Montella?

Let it go... eons ago at this point

I'd agree if we were lacking in the tactical areas. But we were devoid of any passion and winning mentality. He had to go, simple as that.

Pretty much everything was wrong under Montella.

The wheels fell off and he couldn't put them back on again.

Honestly, it’s likely that Necromancer was trolling, but CR7 going to Juventus has got to get under B&G’s skin

They want back in.

LOL, why aren't we on this? He'd probably still do well in a slow league like Serie A.

Because it's a bullshit rumour.

Robben just renewed with Bayern. Otherwise it indeed would be a great signing for us.

From watching training it looks like Halilovic will be a back up for Suso which means Suso will be more fit and suffer less season fatigue

Also, he is hands down the best player on the field in training the last 3 sessions I watched

he might be the most talented on the team, it's just his decision making and experience need to improve

Suso probably smokes a lot

He gasses out in the second half of the season

Immobile seasons where he scored above 20: 4
Morata seasons where he scored above 20: 0

Immobile - played with mediocre supporting cast team, usually elevating them in Serie A.
Morata - played with Real and Jube when they were dominating the league and a very strong Chelsea squad - mainly known for comedic relief.

 Immobile has also been Serie A top scorer twice in his career.

Courtois to Real Madrid for 35m. So Chelsea need a GK.

Pointless. Madrid already have a fantastic goalkeeper. Sometimes its like they sign players just for the sake of making a new signing.

Sorry Gattuso, but if Conte is an option we should do it

Lucci has told AC Milan about Bonucci's desire to leave the club. An important offer could arrive. The captain would only stay with a serious and ambitious project. The ball is in Elliott's court now [VitoAngele]
