Daniel Maldini

Born in November of 2001, Daniel is 11 years old and plays for Milan?s Esordienti 2001 squad. Unlike all of his predecessors, he is actually a striker. He is perhaps most famous for tackling one Clarence Seedorf when he was only 5 years old, so is a bit of an internet star. But he?s also only 11. Sure, he?s got the history and the genetics to be a fantastic footballer, but who knows what will happen over the next 6-10 years? I think expecting an 11 year-old to do their homework or pick up after themselves is ambitious in and of itself. It?s not as if this mere boy needs the weight of world football placed on his tiny little shoulders.

Of course it doesn?t help that when Paolo Maldini retired, they also retired his jersey number. With the exception, of course, of one of his sons wearing it. So Milan fans everywhere are waiting for the number 3 jersey to be filled once again by the beautiful football skills that its previous Maldini dazzled us with.

Is Daniel Maldini any good? I read somewhere that hes been experimenting with his positions, hes got comfortable technique and can play CB/FB/CM but prefers the attacking side of the game.

Will probably bring in a lot of baggage, no thanks.

Is he really good ? But at least he is more success in Milan than his brother did.
He won 2016/2017 U16 title with Milan. Wondering why he isn't take a role as her father and grandpa did. He is midfielder if Im not wrong.

Is he a natural trequartista? I'm aware that it was his first team debut, but he looked a little bit uncomfortable there. When he was moved to striker, he looked livelier.

Started nervous but grew as the game progress.

He should be loaned where he will play every week but looks like interesting prospect.

He was better than Samu and others vs Bayern for sure.

It wasn't so long ago when he tackled Seedorf..so much pressure on his shoulders but he has time.

Pretty cool how his father marked out Zlatan in the game v Ajax in 03', and fast forward 17 years, he's playing with his son in a league game.

These haters are like hungry wolves, as you can see above my comment. Incredible how much pressure this kid has. He's talented, but needs to show it and focus on his strengths better.

He has time, best of luck, sucks for him his pops is a literal football god.

He has talent, but I really think he would benefit from a loan to a Serie B team where he would be an every game starter.

Send him to Monza, let him be supported by Milan people who care about him, and let his talent have a chance to manifest itself and help him to reach his potential.

A really exciting talent, one more year training with the first team would help him. Or a Serie C loan. He won't get time in B.

He would not get time in Monza, they are really stacked, but a more lacking team would do him well.

Serie C is a massive drop in quality, that wouldn't serve him any favours. Either way I don't see a future for him at Milan if we are serious at getting back to the top.

Maybe as bench player, but that's about it.

He is only 18, but he has good technical ability. If worked well he could be a good support for the team. He was pleasing on the wing, somewhere that he isn't used too. Give him time let's wait and see.

He lacks grinta. The technical ability is there, seems like a very good passer, but he's not agressive at all, as in chasing the ball/pressing not fouling,

It's useless to loan him imo, just let him watch a year maybe give him few minutes, get him Serie A prep.

Those old Serie B wankers will just kick him till he wont try anything forward, keep his confidence as high as possible.

They aren't that stacked... he'd certainly have to fight for his spot, but that is a good thing imo. Plus if he can't claim a starting spot there we will know that he isn't of Milan caliber.
