:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I know Jack is very refreshing to have compared to our last batch of players, but this analysis is spot on.

He is a jack of all trades but he tries to do way too much. If he would keep it simple he would be a much better player.

Should proper reinforcement arrive, he is a great player off the bench

Yes he is quite right. But I actually think he will hog the ball less if we upgrade other players like Montolivo and Kucka with players who can play with the ball in their feet.

He's probably the last of the midfielders we should be looking to upgrade. If we get better midfielders around him and he still wastes time with useless dribbling (which I hope will not happen), then he should be benched for a better player. Only time and other midfield signings will show us what will happen.

He was terrible i the first half, Miha must of thrown a boot at his head because he stepped up a lot more in the second I think.

He only plays good in one half.
But when he does he is our most dangerous player

Needs to sort out his hogging the ball and shooting at the wrong opportunity, but he's too important to be dropped.

I disagree with both and it's a shame that you stopped liking my posts because you disagree with them.

Jack did not consistently made the right passes, he made a lot of mistakes. His crosses never reached their target, they were always too short or too far. You may find an odd one cross out of 8-9 crosses attempted that succeeded.

You're waiting for Bacca to start performing? What are you expecting? Have you ever thought that maybe this Bacca we are seeing now is the real Bacca? He isn't known to be a second striker, he never was actually. He's a centre forward that finishes balls, at the moment we are asking for too much from him but let's continue on Bonaventura.

Our problem for recent years has always been creativity, that's a very huge reason to why we look so clueless. Bona has taken the responsibilities to create chances (good job for trying to take the responsibilities) BUT his attempts have failed the majority of the time. Don't believe me? Watch a replay of the games this season.

He is very good at keeping the ball at feet... he feels like he needs to do that every time and that's a problem because it slows down our game play a great deal - but it also can be advantageous depending on the situation at any given time. With Jack he doesn't switch between being selfish and holding up the ball and distributing the play fast...no... he wants the ball at his feet 24/7, always tries to dribble (a does lose the ball frustratingly) and always tries to deliver a final ball in which he always fails.

If we bring someone instead of Jack that can deliver the final balls you'll see a huge difference. All of a sudden all those 4 shots on target that Jack takes every game will suddenly start getting on target, and all of the crosses will finally start reaching their targets... there is no chance that we can bring a player who would do worse in creating chances than Jack for us.

He is a very useful player to have at LCM in a midfield 3... but in a midfield of 4 or in a 4-3-3, I hate using him as a left winger even though that's his natural position. He is not good enough. The same applies to Cerci... Alessio used to be good enough for Torino but since joining Milan he has never showed anything to prove that he deserves to get another chance. He has been abysmal, his ball control has been as pathetic as his dribbling abilities. He can't even sprint without losing the ball.

The exact problem with Milan is that people think Jack and Cerci had good games. Those are the guys that need to be crucified after the last performance. Of course there were others that were just as bad like Montolivo, Kucka, Bacca and Abate but those guys do have some good games and some bad ones. Cerci hasn't had a good game this season yet, and Jack does provide some goals/assists here and there but he is supposed to be doing a lot more. He is wasting 60% of Milan's chances every game just because of his selfishness.

Completely disagree to this way of looking at Bonaventura.

For me, he has been our best player this season so far and the 2nd best last season behind Lopez. He has done his job very well, been selfish when the system has not been working (which is exactly what proactive offensive players should do) and constantly tried to create opportunities. He isn't a passing midfielder, he is an offensive possession-based player. He will look to carry moves on than to pass because that's exactly what his game is about. Montolivo and Bertolacci are the ones who are primarily passers.

Bacca with better presence of mind could have finished more opportunities created by Bonaventura's game. As you say, Bacca's primary responsibility is to finish but his finishing has been just about average.

I hope Bonaventura keeps doing exactly what he's doing now.

Yeah, please continue taking stupid shots.

When players play like this it's usually because they're selfish or they have no clue what to do except taking a shot. Bonaventura is a limited player, both in mind and feet. He doesn't add much to the game.

Another fodder italian Berlusconi is shoving down our throats.

Completely disagree, most of his shots are right decisions and he creates a lot with passing too, its not like he always shoots.

Couple of times yesterday he could have made a forward pass to a free man, but he chose to dribble back to towards our own goal before going forward again.

He's got a decent dribble tbh. but like most dribblers they be selfish mofos. He does pop up with a few chances every game either on his own or he creates them for others.

When Milan is grand again he will be a bench player at best.

I don't know what games you've been watching. He takes one stupid decision after another.

And he hasn't stood out one bit regarding passing and creativity.

let the guy shoot the ball

we're still working on our passing system, some of our midfielder can't control the ball in every situation

after a couple of games, when we will be more adapted to the 433 system everything will get in order

 That's precisely why I call him Bonafidefodda. He's an inconsistent, mediocre midtable team player with no business starting for Milan.

If he started shooting a lot lately maybe it's what the coach has asked him to do..

Thats not true at all. Maybe you are expecting Messi like performances otherwise I can not really understand your point of view.

He has some of the highest key passes and chances created in Serie A.

We are a team with no game plan so there is nothing wrong with taking some shots.

If he is a key part of our midfield in coming seasons we are doomed. Average at best and his shooting last night was that of a pub player.

People act like he's wasteful when he's been probably the biggest attacking contributor on the team this season. Outside of our strikers, he's the only player that is confident in himself. As such, he wastes some chances but also finds himself involved in a lot of our attacks/goals. He's the least of our problems right now

If we were fielding Milan quality players we would lose every game 2029398495 - 0 because at the moment we would be putting 2-3 players max on the pitch.

Criticizing Bonaventura right now is blind hate. He's been involved in almost all the goals we've scored this season (scored, assisted, corner kick assist and lots of key passes that led to goals).

Its not like we have Seedorf quality players anymore...he's one of the better ones we have and he should be the last one we replace.

Great game today because 95% of the time kept things simple instead of holding the ball forever. Shame he cannot play next game.
