With same money we could have bought Immobile instead of Kalinic. That's my point. Simone Inzaghi wasn't a coach in Torino when Immobile played really well

I agree he played well at Torino, just as Cerci...Inzaghi made Immobile again very good.

His story at Dortmund, Sevilla and Torino (2nd spell) were terrible.

Here comes the "no clinical striker" melodrame, for once Kalinic got some good balls into the area, nobody talked when Kalinic converted his first Suso assist into a goal against Chievo :o Normal they will say its a midtable striker goal not like AbuDonjonDaggraba ones in Fudesliga.

Give those players a better coach, even with Nutella if we played like this against Samp or Lazio or Genoa, the gap with the top 4 should have been less than what it is now.

Playing for Portugal national team alongside Ronaldo. Obviously you dont have a clue about football, go watch badminton

 Competition for starting spot: Eder.

And if you actually watched the games, he was shit, did score some goals though. Again, Portugal was in a group where even the Swiss won all the games bar one

Gattuso at this point would be better, which is insane.

It's just so poor.

Look at just how poorly we've done since the Lazio match.

Sassuolo would have probably sacked their manager with those results, let alone a team aiming for the CL.

What he wants to do is just not possible with this group of players. And he's not really flexible or talented enough to try something else.

Gattuso at this point would be better, which is insane.

Atleast he would be able to motivate some players. Play some rigid 4-4-2 with two organized lines and hope for the best. We probably still won't score goals but atleast we will look solid in defense.

It's just so shit.

There are no chances created unless there is a moment of magic. That's awful.

Our play is so fucking slow and tepid that it's actually painful to watch. That's awful.

Our defence, even while playing slow as rocks, is full of holes and generally shit. That's awful.

There is no service to the forwards, there is no pace, there is no intricacy.

It's like we're playing the most generic, boring, slow football and yet we're doing fuck all.

I barely even care to watch Milan matches at the moment, we're that dull and stagnant.

I have no problem with a slow passing game, but not with players all over the place not occupying right positions, non existent pressing game (bar the first 5minutes of every match), no scheme to create chances etc.. It's just a complete mess.

If I wanted to be generous, I could say that he's always had a pacy attacker down the flanks.... whether it was Cudrado, Niang or Deulofeu. If the loss of Conti hurt him that badly....why not revert to a flat back 4 and let Abate overlap with Suso? The tactics and approach today we're utterly disgusting and totally his fault.

Both strikers were completely starved of the ball because there was no system in place to feed them. Not even aerial crosses.....even playing Silva as a LW would have been better than this shit.

Completely agree.

A care home for those with Multiple Sclerosis has more mobility and urgency than current Milan.

We would have been better with Conti, I'm sure but let's not try and pretend that he'll have energised Milan to such an extent.

We are so poor it's unbelievable.

We are currently around Everton level, imo. Probably more static but less likely to concede.

I blame this man for missing more milan games this season than the last two combined. How flaccid have we become?

You could see from the lineup chosen today that it would be the most static team ever with terrible off the ball movement. Even if we dominated possession we would have struggled to score. 3 centerbacks, 2 static midfielders, a static trequartista, a left back who lacks the legs to play wingback and cover the entire flank, a striker who prefers the ball to feet, and then Borini and Cutrone the only ones who move decently off the ball. A 0-0 does not surprise me one bit.

Vincenzo.....here is your recipe:

442

Abate/Calabria Bonucci Romagnoli/Musacchio RR

Suso/Hakan Kessie/Monto Biglia/Loca Bona/Borini

Andre Silva Cutrone/Kalinic

I don't want to see Suso and Hakan in the same team in a 442 as one of the wide midfielders needs to be making off the ball runs towards goal, and Bona and Borini are the ones better at that. Bona/Borini have more dynamism so need to play from the left side.

If Montella wants to morph to a 3 man backline in game he can do it with these same players on the pitch......Bona/Borini as Leftwingback and Abate/Calabria as rightwingback.......but must play 2 strikers and a dynamic runner to have any hope of scoring goals.

442 is also a very good shape to get right defensively and we can switch it up to how we played early last season......remember when we praised Montella for being pragmatic and getting the team to defend properly and counter? We got results and then slowly but surely started to add in a bit more of the Montella style, but we did not have the players to be successful with it then.

Please recognise that this situation is almost like our very early season last year Vincenzo and bring back that pragmatic side to get results. We can always give it another go in the market next year to get the right players, but we need to be top 4 to be able to do that. It is damage control at this point now, not trying to build something new.
