Sacchi's 1989/1990 team was voted by World Soccer magazine as the greatest club team in history.

World Soccer also crowned Pele, Maradona's goal against England in the 1986 WC, and Italy's match against Germany in the 1970 as the best player, goal and match in history.

17-Real Madrid 1998? Wow, I would have expected Real Madrid 2000-2002, but 1998 Real Madrid was the underdog team to win the CL & was really really crap in the league.

Anybody still thinking about those days? In the late 80's early 90's Milan simply was the leading team of Europe. We dominated Italy and Europe in terms of cups and spectacular transfers! We played the champions league finals of 1989,1990,1993,1994 and 1995.

No other team in the history of football has had so much quality and dept in the squad. We had 5 world class strikers in the top of their carreer: Simone, Massaro, Papin, Van Basten and Lentini. Our midfield was blessed with stars llike Gullit, Rijkaard, Savicevic, Boban, Donadoni, Albertini etc. The defence was also world-class with Tassotti, Baresi, Maldini and Costacurta.

I think the AC Milan team of today is also a good team. But they don't have that magical feel and invincibility that AC Milan had in the early 90's.
I miss those days...

The next dream team are on the way...
