The draft will be held on June 24 in New York City.

in the link it says that 94 early entries have applied for the draft, 21 more than last year, 94 players who havent finished all 4 years on college, or even never visited one, straight from highschool to the NBA...

bad examples for early entries/high schoolers are = Eddy Curry & Tyson Chandler (Bulls), Kwame Brown, 1st pick from the Wizards, that were only some of the high drafted youngsters, who still havent adapt or made impact for their team, even though all 3 have improved their game a lot, but after 2-3 seasons...
good examples for early entries = Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Trady McGrady...

True, Bulls used to trade Elton Brand to Clippers for future 2nd pick overall ===> Tyson Chandler.
And it was a bad move, Brand is far better player, and Chandler in the begginin was condered next KG, but he;s really strugglin, he shows he can rebound and block but not such a good scorer, meanwhile Cury (the yungest player in Bulls history to be drafted) has more minutes and he ender with like 14ppg and 6.5 rpb, which is not so bad but he needs to improve more, is lazy sometimes, and thats why one o these guys will probably be traded this season.

GO LAKERS unfortunately i couldnt watch the game, but Kareem Rush has scored 18 points all from behind the arc, 6 3-Pointers, wow...!!!
Shaq had a horrible hand from the foul line, where he only made 7 out of 20 free throws... Kobe was like always very good too.... Lakers beat the Wolves 96-90...
only Garnett and Sprewell played well for the Wolves, but not good enuff!!

Now Lakers are waiting for the winner of Pistons-Pacers series, and the players have few days more off than the east teams

I like the NBA.

Does anyone know about the next draft? Compared to last season (first 3 picks espcially) i heard its going to be quite poor.

It is quite poor, not really kind of players like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan or Carmelo Anthony... im not a specialist, coz i dont/cant follow US college basketball, but the names sound not that big like in the last years draft...
that means nothing even one of those players could have a outstanding rookie year, Emeka Okafor, but its true not a draft with tons of Talents like in 1996 or last year...

this is definitely going to be the starting line ups, if nobody is injured...

See how the Psitons turned the game, after they only scored 11 points in the 1st quarter, 23-11 for Pacers, Ron Artest had a fuck!ng bad game, like every game against the Psiotns in the eastern conference final series...

This is going to be sooooo boring. As sweep by the La La Fooking Lakers.

Possibly one of the poorest ever.

The projected first two picks are Emeka Okafor, who has back problems, and Dwight Howard, a high school kid.

There's a whole bunch of high schoolers in there. There are decent College players but none really that are dubbed *future first team stars*, like we're used to.

If some clubs have decent scouts, then they could pick some worthy Europeans or South Americans.

Detroit is leading the series 1-0 with a shocking victory in the Staples Center at Los Angeles, only Shaq (13-16 fgs) and Kobe were trying to win it for the LAkers but the Pistons perimeter defense worked well like all season, so they ve stolen 1 win from L.A.    !!!!

Lakers must win next game!!! Pistons are really a hard to beat coz their defense is the best what the NBA have seen for a long time!!!

Its all Rip Hamilton's fault, he couldv block better Bryant in last seconds, and they wouldnt go to 5th quarter, it wouldv been big lead than with 2:0 from away games

THank God (Kobe Bryant) the Lakers won at least 1 game at home, so its tied at 1 now... the Pistons win with defense and almost did same in game 2.
It have been already a terrible start for the Lakers but next 2 games the Lakers Express will stop the Pistons D with Showtime basketball, Shaq and Kobe are unstoppable!!!
unbelievable how good Pistons head coach Larry Brown formed this team in only 2 years, but a win is too much for them
   :devil2:

wow lakers are so lucky

I thought they were preety good though out the game. Desevered it as much as the pistons.

Kobe hit a 3 pointer to tie the game with only 2 seconds to go And thaen they beat them in the over time.It will be a hell of a game in Detroit

you could say it was lucky... but there was alot of skill also. Hes done it 10/12 times in his carrer.
He had a brillant 4th quater and overtime, abosutly control the game. Game 1 and 2 his defending has been top notch.

Its all Rip Hamilton's fault, he couldv block better Bryant in last seconds

No its not   :head: :head:

Hamilton had a good game. That last shot the commintator said (i agree!)
"you couldnt ask any more from a defender" he defended him really well (hand right in face) but it was a perfect shot from 25/26 foot.

As He shot it Jackson said "thats in" :D

Rip is my favorite player from Pistons team, but somehow I still think that he shpuldv been more carefull in those seconds, ask him ;) he'll tell you that he shouldv been more close to Bryant in that moment.
(dont tell me "did you ask him", cuz I didnt :D )
just jokin...
Maybe it was just ment to be, good shoot and winin the game.
Now they play at home, lets see what happens.

i thought his name is richard hamilton?
anyway, damn i hate lakers but that kobe's shot was one heck of a shot... pistons sould have played better in the OT though... that game says it all that a game is not over untill it's really over...
go pistons (although i never really put a hope on a eastern team coz all eastern teams pretty much sux after the jordan's bulls era)...
