I sometimes wonder if people here watch Milan matches

As in we already switched to a hybrid 4321/433 with suso as ss/rw

Come on guys

Also had Samu playing in the middle and Piatek drifting to LW

Think 433 might be more likely now given how Rebic has been playing LW for Croatia

As reported by GDS on newsstands today, September 10th, for the new stadium of Milan and Inter is run by two. The Populous architecture studios (which built the Tottenham stadium) and Manica Cmr (Sardinia Arena) remained in the race. Boeri and Hok out of the games.
Beyond the official declarations, the process of sharing between the Municipality and the two clubs proceeds quickly. Frequent meetings. The next step will be to extend participation to the community of citizens and fans.
Corriere dello Sport: the goal is to complete the new stadium by 2024 but it will depend on bureaucracy and the work process. Stadium with 65,000 seats and 10,000 for the hospitality area. Overall project (including commercial activities) of € 1.2 billion.

The excellent relations between Milan and Emirates make optimists about the white smoke for renewal until 2025. Gazidis is in a hurry. But Milan is also probing other sponsors.

As reported by Repubblica on newsstands, which confirms yesterday's news, Gazidis was excluded from the ECA board due to Milan's disqualification from Europe. Automatic procedure. But in a year's time, at the end of the exclusion, he will be able to return to the Council. At the moment Gazidis' post could be taken by Zhang. However, the Milan CEO will continue to attend the meetings.

Oh man I really hope our new stadium looks nothing like the Spurs monstrosity. But I have a bad feeling it will, if we are really going to follow the model of American football stadiums.

That Arup design from a few years back was so beautiful.

They are 100p spot on

What is the Theo Hernandez baggage they didnt know about?

What are the Piatek issues? If they meant adapting then fine.

On the feeling sorry for the coach I understand where they are coming from but the best coaches adapt and find ways to work with what they have to get the best results. We will see how it goes for GP

What does a pro journo mean by "as for that Rebic thing..yuck"?
To be fair - he earlier stated that Rebic is a player that runs with his head down ie another clueless forward bringing little quality to the attack.

Whether you agree with that or not can be discussed.

Milan is satisfied with its market. Yet, there is a blow that Zvonimir Boban had targeted with all the leadership, he tried and remains in the orbit of the Rossoneri's ideas: talent in power, this is Gedson Fernandes, Benfica's '99 class midfielder who scouting follows for some time and that perfectly meets the parameters of the new Milan. It is no coincidence that Boban had given the green light to try for really for this 20 year old Portuguese with enormous potential, convinced that it is a real jewel with high-level perspectives, while still having to demonstrate so much.

Milan made its attempt last July, nothing because even though it has a 120 million euro clause, Benfica has requested at least 50 million that have been considered too much for Gedson. An investment out of the Rossoneri parameters at that time; but with a greater spending margin in the future, Boban continues to think about this player on the list of the new Milan. He has insertions, quality, change of pace, all characteristics that would fit perfectly with Marco Giampaolo's football. Not only that: Gedson Fernandes would really like the destination, he had already opened this summer but the costs were unapproachable. For the future, who knows ... (Fabrizio Romano)

Italy needs a change in tax laws... let the players pay their own tax.

54m annual wage is where this squad is at... 94m is bs.

That's the dumbest idea ever! Players only care about the net money going into their pocket. If a club now pays 10 min gross salary now, they still will have to pay 10 min gross salary, whether they (the clubs) pay the tax or the players pay the tax.

Do you think a player getting 10 min gross salary (5 mil net salary) right now is going to accept a 5 mil gross salary (2.5 mil net) just because he's the one paying the tax and not the club??

They do in England.

Do you think a player like Donnarumma who's making 6 mil net (around 12 mil gross) would suddenly be willing to accept a gross salary of just 6 mil if he went to an English club? After paying the tax he would end up with only 3 mil net salary.

Why would a player accept half the net salary just because he is paying the tax himself? That's just a ******ed idea.

Do you think when Milan ended Higuain's loan last year and sent him to Chelsea that Chelsea halved his net salary?? Obviously not! His net salary stayed the same.

For a player only the net figure matters. That's why the new Italian law that taxes only 50% of footballers salary that move to Italy reduces costs for the clubs. They can offer these players good net salaries while having not that big of a gross salary.

Ya the Spurs stadium is definitely big, new and shiny but has that cookie cutter feel to it with no soul. It has that american stadium template look to it that practically looks like every nfl stadium. I really hope they stay away from that kind of stadium.

In a couple of months, we'll get Allegri to replace GP... so we'll have double combo of Cagliari coach and Cagliari stadium.

split between Milan and Inter though.

Why would Elliot make a €600m investment to co-own a stadium?
Suitors aren't going to add 600m to the offer because the club now co-owns a stadium. Splitting the pay also means splitting the non-matchday revenue and naming rights money.

The ticket revenue growth potential is small for both Milano teams. The income is at around 35m currently. It could rise up to 40-50m with a few CL big games. The attendance figures are already high, especially Inter's. How are they going to make significant growth with a new stadium? This is not England where you can triple the ticket prices and still fill up every seat.
