I just want the Rangers to lose the finals. Not bc i dont like them but UNDERDOGS MUST PREVAIL.

Im still cheering for Kings-Devils final :)

If Rangers get there I doubt they'll be favourites. Kings is at 12-2, Rangers is at 10-8. Minimum of 6 games more(including one with triple overtime). Those regular season seeds are long forgotten if it doesn't go to 7-th game.

So who do we want to win here?

I want Kings: 1. bc they are 8th seed, & 2. because Parise is a free agent and will leave to the Wings for sure if they lose the cup

Kings... Just cause they're underdogs.

Parise would really be amazing in Detroit.

The LA Kings may be the best/most talented 8 seed ever to make the playoffs.

On the flipside: The New Jersey Devils have the greatest goalie of all time playing for them.

IMO, LA wins this series 4-2.

EDIT: Martin Brodeur with some CLUTCH keeping!

Lidstrom is announcing his retirement tomorrow in a press conference.

That will clear up a lot of salary cap space.

We are supposedly very interested in signing Parise and Ryan Suter (nashville defender).

As a Blue Jackets fan, anything that will make Nashville a weaker team is fine by me! Fuck Trashville.

Really? Didn't knew it...

They're the two biggest free agents... All NHL will try to sign them, it's really hard to get both.
I would say Wings needed more a goalscorer like Parise... But since Lids is retiring, Suter maybe can be a long term replacement, defenders of that level are harder to get.

Suter will be signed almost for sure now that Lidstrom is leaving.

They also have the space to get a very good forward (especially if Holmstrom retires as well).

Parise is the first choice, and if he leaves NJ then I doubt he turns down the chance to play for the wings. The second choice is Alexander Semin.

Semin would be a good sign too. Maybe he can find some consistency, cause he is very skilled. But Parise is more of a playoff player the Wings need.

Both teams playing very cautious in the overtime

Who could see that coming?

Minnesota signed both Parise and Suter

Gonna try to watch the Red Wings final three games... Fighting for the last playoff spot point-by-point with Columbus (Dallas and Predators still with chances too). Always make for interesting games
