Yeah, most likely.
For time being I bet Odu will be on the bench to cover winger position and Robinho will be pushed up front. But yes, we need 2 CF anyway.

We should try it with Beretta, Odu can't help much, I rather have Verdi and Beretta, they are younger than Odu but better imo.
Allegri should call up Beretta, to have him as back up on the bench at least, should we need him. Also I don't want Ibra to play all 90 mins in every match, he also needs a rest sometimes and someone like Beretta could then be the sub.

Exactly! Beretta has had his own room in Milans infirmary. He's never been able to be at his best at Primavera because of these damn frequent injuries for the past two years.

Ganz should, despite his youth, be the better option if Allegri decides to have a CF on the bench. Ganz is in form and getting regular playing time, scoring and impressing.

Verdi and Odu is the more propable and logical choice though, they've had experience with the first team - in training and playing friendlies.

I'm guessing 2 out of the abovementioned trio will be in the squad in the near future.

Allegri stated that Odu will be a cover for Pato so I assume he will be on bench.
Ibra can't play that frequent and this isn't Pato's last injury this season so a youth CF will also get some bench time in noone comes in January.

i thought beretta was on loan somewhere, no..? if he is, it would be easier, not to mention better to call verdi up since he has had more 1st team experience even tho it wasn't much..

Verdi is not a CF, he is way too small.

nice goal today, he can play in the Primavera and get called up if there are injuries, no reason to add another striker

I think he'll start next match on bench with cassano and Pato starting (assuming Robinho is out). Will make a cameo for sure

Unlucky, because I think he's got a lot of talent but in his position he has robinho, cassano and even Pato. It'd be nice if Milan found a good situation to loan him where he could play.

He played like a veteran. Seeking for the ball, making himself avaliable, calm and smart and direct with the ball.

Compare his performance with Zigoni start last year... Sometimes the players got the same quality, but different personalities are decisive.

And I'm not bashing Zigoni, I still believe he will prove himself eventually, he just didn't make a good impression with his playing time last year.

I think that he is a more active striker that fits us better than Zigoni last year, who often gets compared to Toni, who always seems to be lumbering around. I still think that Zigoni could have a future considering how prolific he is at the Primavera level, it just may make him a while to develop.

I think Beretta seems more ready right now, I hope he gets a chance to play with the first team soon

I don't really know who to compare him too. I know he really turns well with his back to goal and likes to react on instinct which is a sign of a good striker.

That's what I've already said several times, I think this would be better for Milan and certainly also a good chance for Beretta.

I was very happy that he scored the goal, he can have a great future if he continues on this way. Beretta is strong physically and def. could play for Milan also in Serie A if we have injuries or rest players. To me he seems ready for our first team, he's a great youngster. We need a young CF anyway, I believe in him and think that he is the right guy for our first team, for the future.

I remember when we grabbed him, Galliani (or possibly one of our scouts) said he reminded them a lot of a young Christian Vieri
