also, he played as a sub a ton of last season so those appearances aren't a majority of starts. I'm not saying the guy is bad and I am hoping he thrives here and becomes world class, just that I'm not very excited about him for 40+mil, seems excessive but hey, I will be glad to be proven wrong and maybe he'll be amazing here, Giampaolo does tend to get a lot of return from his attackers so he should be given every opportunity to succeed here.


--> TBH, I'd rather sell any combination of the following: Castillejo, Silva, Suso, Calhanoglu, Laxalt and bring in both Correa and Bruno Fernandes.

There was only three viable options for Silva - Monaco, Wolves or Valencia. He'll now retire @ Milan in 2022.
