In certain parts of Ivory Coast, about 6 in 10 children are unregistered at birth. But this age argument is just moronic and symptomatic of the time we live in.. where relative youth is a positive factor in rating a player.

Inordinately positive. Unwanted weight. Player A being younger than Player B by 2-3 years should have a much lower weight in their overall assessments, than is currently being given by the footballing community.

We need to rest him for some games and play Locatelli instead. Didn't like him today. It was obvious he was only aiming to get a corner with his crosses... not even trying to get a decent one into the box.

He was actually really good for us against Crotone. His powerful running and intelligent movement was creating so much space for Suso and Calabria, our right side was dominate until Kessie came off. Sure he isn’t the best on the ball, but he is so valuable to this squad right now and people take it for granted. He also had a goal disallowed because of the stupid VAR. IMO it wasn’t his best performance but it was a really good one, people tend to miss the little things he does to support Suso. When he doesn’t have the energy that he had yesterday Suso tends to struggle.

Im confident he's the only player who was truly worth the money we paid for last summer.

Sure he sometimes lets us down with his decision making and shitty backpasses...but he's only 20 and is surrounded by players still getting used to each other.

A little more improvement and I think we have a solid player for many years to come.

Agreed. He is the only one with wc potential but his decision making is still questionable. Wanayama and him in midfield would be good for us.

maybe he isn't tired and it's his facial expression/body language

Yes but when is conti back. I do rate hakan's skillset but he has awful cardio. Without fixing his cardio issues, he will never become wc.

Agreed. Pretty sure hakan missing the last 6 months affected him greatly. Plus he still kind of really young for a midfielder with his characteristics , 23 yo.
