Roma is owned by the hedge fund of James Pallotta.

One of the greatest myths is that you can't make money in football. Football is a growing sport economically, the value of clubs increases from year to year, that trend is going to continue for a while.

Pallotta's net worth increased, Abramowitsch net worth increased, the Glazers net worth increased. The City owners are richer than they were, their investment has been long recouped.

There are plenty of ways for Elliott to make money with Milan in a way that also benefits Milan as a club. Those goals can co-exist.

Except Roma is a massive selling club too

sure..but what benefits milan shouldn't be contingent on paul singer making money

fuckin Biglia

dude is gonna regress so hard this season its not even funny

classic Milan tho

prioritising average older players over promising youth.

Ye, and I dont give a fuck if Locatelli is not ready or how many mistakes he did. This is the same as the BS we pulled when we bought a washed up Essien and played him over Cristante.

So long for so called youth project.

yea..this is not the way the sport works, more like FM manager simulations

Young players want to play...what a shocker

I dont mind selling Locatelli. If we get Badelj and or Paredes, even Biglia is better then him. And how is he rated so high ? Because he made 1 sceamer against Juventus ?

Roma is a massive selling club because their revenue even with CL is slightly lower than ours without CL.

A Milan with regular CL football, delivered through competent work, is closer to Juve in terms of potential than Roma.

Nonetheless Roma is in much better shape, economically and sporting wise, than they were before the were taking over by a financially minded American.

So we’ll end the mercato with €50m +, €100m from sales, and €50m investments. Locatelli and Donnarumma are likely to leave. In other words Milan is dead.

Milan, Badelj very close to Zenit as reported by TMW, Milan Badelj, the target for the Rossoneri transfer market, is very close to Zenit. Tomorrow, Lucci, the player's agent, will have a meeting with the Russian club to define everything. Zenit wants to close before the World Cup ends.

Cross that one off the list. With Badelj joining them, the path for Paredes to Milan opens

Russian league is now considered quality.

Doesnt matter that he couldnt cut it at Roma.

Couldn't cut it at Roma, eh?

Is that why he was a priority for Mancini, in a high cost operation move to zenit?

why is Paredes rated so high?

Why is Biglia rated so high?
He played well in Lazio, but back then Lazio had several average players which made a great team. I can't understand how come Mirabelli - who is supposed to be smarter than us in terms of rating footballers - fell for that and bought Biglia for millions while he was decent only because he played in a well-organised team. In a team like that even average players are overperforming - like Nocerino for example.
Can you imagine anyone buying Nocerino back in 2012 for ~15 millions? I can't. And Mirabelli bought someone like him - an average player after a good season in a good team - to build a midfield around him. What a stupidity. :fp:

For now I don't agree that Locatelli from 16/17 season is worse than current Biglia and what's more - Locatelli can still grow a lot. Therefore selling him is a pure stupidity - even bigger if we're gonna give his spot to this average, overpayed argentinian or another average playmaker - Badelj.
Hell, after last few years I can't see any difference between Biglia, Montolivo and Badelj. Each one of them has his strong sides, each one of them needs to play constantly to find his best form and yet first we splashed millions on Biglia while having Montolivo and Locatelli (can't see any difference between buying Biglia and burning this money up in a fireplace) and now we're gonna sell Locatelli for peanuts only to keep Monto and Biglia - which is stupid - and still we are looking for Badelj.
Can't find strong enough words to explain how stupid it is.

Idd, maybe thats why Zenit bought him for 25m and thats why Real Madrid and Juventus are after him. But he has no quality..
And Sassuolo are after Locatelli

Currently there are 3 good players in Milan: Romagnoli, Calhanoglu, Donnarumma.

And they will sell...

As long as we have a buy back option, Im not bothered. Locatelli is overrated by our fans because of his goal vs Juventus (even in that game he gave the ball away LOTS) and because he came up through our youth system.

Calabria and cutrone are much more promising players to be honest

Its 2018/19 season now bro.
Locatelli wants to leave doesnt want a loan.
Paredes is better than Locatelli right now.
What exactly does Locatelli offer us now ? Hes not very good at anything hes decent but not a standout even though he'll lmprove or should improve.Id prefer to keep him but wont lose sleep as he wants to leave according to all reports.Doubt they are all just lies and hes being forced out while he cries and begs to stay.
