How can the game be more physical when you can get booked for just touching a player? In today's game, they use slim fitted kits, which makes you look bigger. Put the old school kits on them, they would make today's smaller players disappear. Football pitches nowadays are in perfect condition. Back in the day, the pitches used to look like shit. Bad pitch conditions = good for leg muscle!. Last but not least, everybody was on juice!

when saying physical i primarily meant speed/stamina
not physical contact

rhythm is way too fast nowadays

If we want to splash money on a striker, it should be KANE:star::star::star::star::star:

As much as I like Kane, I can’t see him doing the same outside of Spurs.

Maybe not with our current squad. But take a look at his goals. The guy can score from any where on the final third of the pitch. He's maybe not as skilled at Messi and Ronaldo but this past year he's been scoring just as many goals

Why does everyone think we need a striker?
We have 3. None of them are WC but they are better than what we had last season.

The reason we can't score from open play is that we don't create enough.
We have half a squad that can play 4-3-3 and half that can play 3-5-2.

We either need more wingers or more creative midfielders.
Make a pick and use winter mercato wisely.

Adidas to break with Milan
Football Italia
It’s reported Adidas will end their sponsorship of Milan in the summer, after 20 years.

The German sportswear brand has manufactured the Rossoneri kits every year since 1998, having previously done so between 1978 and 1980, and from 1990 to 1993.

The current deal, which is worth €19.7m per season was due to run until 2023, but this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Adidas have decided to break off the partnership in June.

While a 10-year contract was signed in 2013, the previous Diavolo ownership agreed to break clauses in the deal.

Adidas activated their right to break things off during the sale of the club to Chinese investors, but a deal was found to continue until summer 2018.

It’s expected the kit manufacturer will officially terminate their deal in December or January, but the decision has already been taken.

This is the second sponsor to leave Milan in recent month, with Audi pulling out of all football sponsorship in March.

The Rossoneri will now have to go forward with a new kit manufacturer, but Gazzetta believes this is unlikely to be Nike due to their relationship with Inter.

It’s therefore possible that growing brands such as New Balance or Under Armour will take over the contract.

However, it’s not clear what the figures on offer will be, or whether anyone will match the €19.7m paid by Adidas.

The German brand currently pays Juventus €23m per season to manufacture their kits.

Don't like this.
But NB or Under Armour will offer us a lot of money

This kind of sucks.
We needed additional sponsors as a backup in case CL qualification doesn't go as planned.

Instead, we lost 2 existing ones. :(

Under Armour will produce some bad ass looking kits, make it happy China!

As much as I like Kane, I can’t see him doing the same outside of Spurs.

Along with Silva, he would terrorise the peasants that play football in Italy.

The wave of negativity continues. Adidas cutting ties early is a not a good look. Let's hope its not Anta...

UA tried to do a deal with Real earlier this year. If they make us their top kit sponsorship deal, then it could work out better financially than the current Adidas one.

Yeah, Adidas terminating the contract doesn't sound good at all. They had a relatively cheap deal (in today's market) until 2023 with a club that aims for the top.

Fuck em.... i said it a few months back how they were slipping with the milan designs over the last 6-7 years. Although it must be said they did a very good job with this years kit

Would loved to have seen Nike design our new sports apparel... their range is fuckin amazing compared to adidas. I love all that pro combat shit as well as the therma fit  The only thing adidas bought to the table in recent years was clima cool

not too keen on new balance.... under armour seem to be decent

Eriksen and co make him that good.

Without them he’d be just a Andy Carrol

Adidas doesn't believe in our project. They'd rather keep sucking off Ladri and Dybitch.

Fuck em.

According to The Sun, AC Milan management are planning to submit Manchester City a 90 million euros bid, aimed to get Argentinian international forward Sergio Agüero (29) signed in January. El Kun's signover might take place, most likely next summer, if City succeed in getting Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

High hopes

Real was asking for 150 million euros per year from UA(they offered around 100m) Real extended with Adidas in a deal worth 1b over the next 10 years.
