We're the kind of team that Napoli will really struggle with. They can't press us since we have the best outball in football history, and Leao, Rebic, Saelemaekers can be devastating in wide open space.
I'd say their Achilles heel are low block defenses. They looked pathetic against AZ.
They have a lot of counter-threats, but no Ibra type of player who can dominate in a crowded box. They have also been wasteful for a long time and Osimhen does not look like the striker who could fix or even reduce that problem one bit.
They outplayed us badly last time. Kessie-Bennacer got overrun.
The match tempo was way too fast for Ibra.
We were at the mercy of their finishing.
The question is how much of it was down to Paqueta who was shocking that night. He was all over the place, messing with our on and off ball structure, and also making uncharacteristic poor touches. Things improved considerably when Saelemaekers came on and replaced him on the right flank, but Napoli were also tired at that point. Ibra never really got into the game. The team only made a real push for an equalizer when he was taken off for Leao, who switched roles with Rebic.
