Hakan no.10 is off to Bayern anyway...
Suso to Real, Kessie best 22 mid to Chelsea
Imagine he gets us in CL this season and wins the damn thing with us the following year.
There are two things we need from Ibra - his finishing and target/holdup play in and around the box.
Ibra doesn't have the energy to play like he used to in 2012. He's pretty much a static 9 these days.
What you're suggesting seems to be even more exhausting than his previous role, and even further away from the box.
The likes of Theo and Paqueta are already getting scoring chances which usually render into a counter-attack for the opponents. We need attackers who can score. The fullbacks and midfielders are pushing up and looking to score too much as it is.
With that said, what's the point of signing Ibra in January, giving him 6m net for 5-6 months?
Let's say he immediately turns it around for the team, having the team average the same amount of points(2.1 p/g) as in his last Milan season. It's very unrealistic, but let's say he did. It would still most likely not be enough for a Top 4 spot.
The season is doomed. This is not the moment for a 6 month, expensive stop-gap that will probably further devalue Piatek in the market.
He will leave us in a worse state.
Fair enough, but when did Demiral play for the best Team in Italy? This club is obsessed with strikers and recently with CB's... meanwhile, our mid and winger position are cancerously bad. Add there RB either but hey we need to attacareeee!!!.
What we're hearing in media... striker, striker, striker, Demirel, Rugani, striker, striker, Demiral, just sometimes rumor about MF came out. We're looking for strikers for decades, every single mercato.
Caldara looks fine and healthy on trainings and his muscles are on point. From that point of view, everything seems ok.
But his form might be worrisome, he needs to play regulary after winter break, no matter what. Personally, I still believe in him.
Btw, Demiral plays in one of the best clubs in the world (+Turkey NT) so I guess that price tag is fair. Tbh, 30m looks like a steal.
That would be nice
Good work
This is my hope if we get Zlatan. He would be the player we look for as an outball obviously, with players breaking into the space behind him as he draws defenders. I really don't see Zlatan being the spearhead of our attacks. Leao and Piatek will still play up front. Playing 352 gives more balance and protects the wingbacks. Having both Suso and Zlatan in the same team is overkill you only need one of them. Hopefully the plan is to finally sell Suso so we can move into this new shape. Getting Zlatan, although he's slow, will turn us into a faster counterattacking team. This is because we finally will have a player able to consistently trap long balls from deep and transition them quickly into attacks, with Theo, Paqueta, Krunic, Leao, Conti and even Kessie being very good at this. This is why I always wanted Sergej Milinkovic Savic, he's the best player in Serie A that's able to do this, along with maybe Dzeko. Our team would have a very unified strategy. Defend in a man marking system and attack quickly by looking for Zlatan and letting him control the ball and then release it to the army of fast, direct runners that would attack the space around him. This can't work with players like Suso, Jack and Hakan, who want the ball to feet.
i cannot imagine ibra coming and taking one of the remaining available squad numbers. Hakan's wife is probably receiving daily photos of zlatan's hammer until her husband relinquishes the #10
Is Hakan going to be a janitor or ball boy there?
Fair enough, but when did Demiral play for the best Team in Italy?
Read a rumor that Ibrahimovic will earn 10M/year + incentives including the #10 shirt and Hakan’s wife.
Ibra likes older women like his wife Helena.
50% of the squad will get slapped daily and karatekicked
other 50% will retire and go back to their soybeanfarms
