:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

And Arsenal are not the wisest sellers too. They sold Henry (he was on the decline but still had 2-3 good years left was was EPLs greatest by that time) for around 16 million to Barca the same year Darren Bent for a higher tranfer free in England. Couple of my Arsenal supporting friends still whine about that fact.

And losing Flamini for free and Hleb and Adebeyor didn't go at that high prices too considering the form they were in the the number of suitors they had.

Riola + Galliani working together and Barca saying they won't buy him this summer.:lol::lol:.

If not him then Nasri, just today Arsenal have offered RVP a 90k a week deal which is pretty much a slap in Samir's face so i hope they put him on the market and Milan take notice :D

Either would be fantastic.

Tribal football ,no offense but this thread belongs merged in the dream section one. There`s no reliable source for him coming to Milan.

Just living in the moment dude and after what galliani pulled off at the end of last years mercato :proud: anything is possible.
here is another source.

AC MILAN PREPARE BID FOR ARSENAL CAPTAIN CESC FABREGAS

AC MILAN have set their sights on Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.

According to Gazzetta.it, AC Milan are preparing a £35m offer for Arsenal wantaway Cesc Fabregas.

Arsenal have dropped to fourth in the Barclays Premier League meaning that the Gunners could enter the Champions League at the Play-Off Round.

The disappointing finish to the season could signal the end of Cesc Fabregas' Arsenal career - with Manchester City and Chelsea also waiting in the wings.

Hmm... It would be nice to see him coming. We buy him for € 35 M. We send him to the US like we did with Pato and he will stop being injuried all the time.
Then we win CL with him making him the man of the match. Then last but not least, we sell him for profit to Barca for, hmm... let's say... € 75-85 M.

Welcome Sahin, Hamsik, Asamoah, Ganso, Falcao...!

I'm seriously the Galliani Jr. :D

We could take Nasri and Fabregas easily from them...

that's what I'm saying. it'll be like zlatan and robinho all over again.:o "we're going for zlatan but if barca dont sell, we'll take robinho." 36 league matches later, we won the scudetto with zlatan AND robinho. at the same time though, nasri and fabregas are from the same club and are pretty big stars at arsenal at least. arsene selling both of them would be a dream come true for any other club with a good eye for players, but how likely is it that we sign both of them? not likely. the odds of us getting one are much higher. fabregas? or nasri? (that just goes to show how low the odds are of us signing both of them. low but still possible) fued below.

I can't believe some people don't want Fabregas here. He'd be the ultimate signing for us :fp:

This deals looks unlikely at first view, but I think it might happen.

Since Berlusconi said he'd sign one or two champions if Milan won the Scudetto, I started to think some big names that Milan could sign assuming they would come for midfield. Most of then already play for top clubs and are doing well (ex: Ozil). Those who are in ordinary clubs usually are unproven (Ganso), raw (Pastore) or too young (Lamela). All of them too expensive. Names that had shown to be unhappy at their clubs started to come to my mind. At the first moment, I thought of Fabregas (lack of silverware) and Robben (at the time, Bayern could miss CL) and ever linked with us Balotelli.

Then there was Raiola saying he had been working for months on a big Milan signing. Immediately, I assumed it wouldn't be a player from South America, neither one from a small club. If Raiola is in and is talking big, then it is big. However, I really doubt it would come from a top top club who are always challenging for titles. So, I thought with myself "Arsenal is big, but not THAT big". They also haven't won anything for quite sometime.

Since the beginning of this "big signing" thing, I have the strange feeling Fàbregas might be on his way to Milan. I know there's all the Barça interest, but sometimes it seems they won't make a move for him this summer. If they pull off and Milan makes an approach, maybe Cesc could come.

I know it looks impossible, but when they linked us with Ibrahimovic for the first time last summer, did it looked like happening? No. It seemed impossible. Milan didn't have the money... Then he arrived.

After last summer and even last winter, I really think this kind of deal can happen. Raiola + Galliani showed to be a really strong market partnership.

from all player's who are not completely impossible to get fabregas is by far the best. he's exactly the player we need if we really want to compete with barca, real and co for cl-glory.

fabregas would be the best signing since kaka 2003.

In this season, he's just a name. Average player worth max 15-20mil€. But whatever, some of you are biased because of his name...

Maybe so, but you can't deny his talent.

I think he needs a new environment.

:o forgetting about Thiago Silva?

Not the best signing, but the best midfielder since Kaká.. but seriously, because he has one weaker season we aren't thrilled about him anymore? Think, remember, what he is, did, on what age, etc... now Pirlo is gone, what do we want, what do we need? Cesc

What talent? He's 24. He's no longer just a talent. But a player showing his skills every game against everyone. Well this season he sucked and played for barca when he was supposed to play against them. We could use a player like him, but not him for 45mil€

Its a mystery as to why this thread is alive still..he's declared numerous times that he will only play for barca if he leaves arsenal..not to mention his recent injury plagues..not worth anything over thirty mill.

He said he would only leave Arsenal for Barça, but everyone knows football players change opinions as easily as Berlusconi changes his sexual partner.

People need to realize the sistem of our game has changed, and Milan is looking for a creative CENTRAL midfielder. If Raiola is a man that was hired to work on the main transfer target, then Fabregas could be Milan player. Why not? And that would be a brilliant signing that would add so much modern quality to our game.

If Pirlo and Seedorf are gone, and we replace them with Cesc and Ganso, we did a job of the decay.

Whoever plays for Milan
I think everyone is overthinking him saying only Barca etc. I personally don't care which team he's a fan of. Wasn't Dzeko a milanista? Kaka a madridista? etc. At the end of the day whoever comes here if they have Cesc's talent idk if they're printer fans aslong as they're professionals and give all they have for Milan, which to be honest most do. I don't like it anymore than anyone else but the day's of footballers like Maldini and Baresi are gone and most are now mercenaries.

Cesc is a Barca fan and he is way more than someone mentioned 20million even out of top form.

My guess is that Raiola is trying to get Cesc for Barca in London and has non of our business there.
We don't have exclusivity for Raiola.

He hinted that he has been working on someone since 5 months- Ganso.

Cesc would be perfect for us. His through passes are great. He's a midfielder who scores, and that's something Allegri wants as he said that to explain why he likes Hamsik.
He plays in a more direct way than what Barca does, which fits our style really well.

Remember how Berlu complained recently about how we didn't have enough posession in a match? Well Cesc knows posession football, I can see Berlu liking this signing, especially with Cesc also being a captain and a champion who's got a fan following.

Can it happen?

He's frustrated with Arsenal's lack of winning mentality, he's said that what Arsenal lack are players who knows how to win. Well we have that.
He wanted to leave Arsenal last year but Barca wasn't willing to pay enough and this year he still hasn't won anything. I think I read a tweet where he congratulated his good friend Flamini with winning his first trophy. :D After another year of the same he must feel like things won't be changing any time soon, so he wants out.

Sure Barcelona is his dream destination, it's his home town, he'll be playing with his best friend Pique, his idol will be his coach, but do you think he would be desperate to join Barca if Arsenal was winning everything right now? If Barca were struggling and hadn't won anything for years while Arsenal was winning everything then he wouldn't leave. He's ambitious.
Barca are said to be playing the best football currently, the press are raving about it being the best team ever, they are winning almost everything, of cause he'd want to be part of that.

But if he goes to Barca he won't be a guaranteed starter, he will be that in Milan.

I think Barca and their fans are a littel ambivalent about his potential signing, Guardiola wants him but Barca aren't happy about paying a lot for him since they trained him and are angry he left for Arsenal in the first place.
They also have players like Thiago Alcantara, who would be a starter in many other teams who's waiting for more playing time, and if Cesc came he would have even less chances to play.
Thiago's father have said that if Cesc joins Thiago could leave. Then the "Cesc-case" could happen all over again with Thiago Alcantara.

It comes down to this: if Barca aren't willing to pay what Arsenal wants he can force his way out by lowering the price with a transfer request or Mascherano style by refusing to play, but it'll cost him a lot of popularity and he wasn't willing to do it last year. If he still wont do that he's got the choice between staying in Arsenal and hope they can win something some day, or go somewhere else to a club that's willing to pay the price.

In the last case I'd say we have a good chance of getting him:
-We play possession football which is what he likes.
-We have players with winning mentality.
-He'll be a starter, we need him.
-It's a choice that doesn't preclude him ending up in Barca some day like joining Real Madrid would.
-He won't alienate the Arsenal fans as much as he would if he went to another English team.

In the end it's a question of money, it will cost us, because we'll only get him if Barca won't pay what Arsenal demands. Barca's new president seems kind of cheap though, and Barca and Arsenal have a terrible relationship.
We'll have to wait and see how much Berlusconi is willing to spend, but he isn't doing to well politically right now so people seem to think he'll spend to help his situation.

Who knows, maybe it's just silly-season gossip and Milan haven't though of him at all. And we'll and up with Lazzari. :devilcon:

if we do somehow buy Cesc, I think Lamela might be the one we take(if we do decide to buy another AM) because he's a prospect, liked by Allegri, cheaper than all of those names, don't have any injury or passport issues, won't mind playing from the bench.
Nasri would be out of the question though, if we sign Cesc, since it would be impossible to buy two important players from Arsenal at the same time

That would be one year of glory and nothing more.Flamini is mediocre bar that season,Fabregas on the other hand is AWESOME.

@Alexandre Pato: Being Spaniard has nothing to do if you can or not sucedeed in Serie A,its all about the quality of the player. And Fabregas is pure quality.

Didn't Fabregas score against us at the San Siro? I'm sure he is good enough to play here.
