The goal wasnt his fault

But its bloody annoying how for a keeper he literally has no commanding presence at the back. Not to mention dude looks panicky everytime the ball is at his feet.

Maybe not his "fault" but one could expect an above average GK to parry that one.

The shot that hit the post wasnt his fault... the goal WAS his fault.

No it wasnt

That was mostly on Romagnoli

How do you get beaten by a ball over the top that easily? That was amateur hour.

I will cut him some slack as he was just getting back on his feet and had to react quickly again

Fuck that... He makes to much money.

I'd be cutting him some slack too if he was on Cutrone/Calabria wages.

Keeper is the boss when defending crosses, he makes the fucking call. Kid had no communication whatsoever with the defense.

So tall, but almost never gets to win the ball from corners or high crosses... wtf happened to him?

Could've saved the goal, as well.

agree with the crosses. i don't think he could save the goal, too many players in front of him. the save he made though, was very important to us.

Honestly was pretty good against Sassuolo, first time he didn’t fuck up this season and he made some really nice saves in the process.

He shouldn’t save that goal as there were too many players blocking his sight. I actually thought he was decent in the air against Sassuolo. Maybe he could’ve held on to some of the balls instead of boxing them, but it’s better to be safe than sorry

How did this guy make the Kopa U21 shortlist?

Based on performances or pure hype?

Hopefully being selected will up his confidence.

Lol he's 19 FFS
Yet somehow thinks he deserves to be the second highest paid keeper in Football.

If hes gonna earn the money meant for a WC keeper he has to put up the performances too.

The excuses if him being young went out the window when he held to ransom the club he supposedly loves.
